Pyke Kill List and Passive Balance Idea
I recently achieved M7 Pyke and something that I always felt wasn't as fleshed out in Pyke's lore-to-gameplay was his kill list, even when he first came out. His trailer featured it and it's briefly talked about in his VO and related media on Youtube, but aside his taunt, it never really shows up in a physical way.
Another thing I feel is quite strong on Pyke is his passive. I understand its meant to counteract his inability to build HP and his Lethality scalings are supposed to tone back tank Pyke. But what if the passive's regeneration started lower and then ramped up per unique champion kill??
Maybe that's too close to Rengar or Kindred in terms of gameplay. However, I think it's interesting its called "Gift of the Drowned Ones" so for every enemy Pyke drowns, the water gives back to him more regeneration. Eventually, it would ramp up to more or about the same as his base regeneration when you uniquely kill or assist every champ in the game.
I think it fits his lore better and offers more of a reason for Pyke to roam or kill more than just weaker targets. If he wants to scale harder, he has to kill everyone at least once. I think a lot of his power would have to be shifted around in order to not make him abysmally useless early game, but I dunno, I'm not a huge pro at this game nor do I know numbers that well. I just like reading lore and playing with friends.
Thoughts on how it would work or not work?? It'd be cool to see the math or figure out where his early game strengths would be placed in place of the rapid regen.
