Adrian pts?

Smart Kitty··11 votes·1,738 views

In most cases when a player leaves the roster or has to share time we get an announcement or their sub becomes available before LCS starts. However, Adrian stepped down yesterday after TiP victory, (which I'm sad about ofc) so how will this affect his fantasy pts? Will he receive Gate's since he stepped down after roster locks and there was no gate to pick up, or will he not receive anything?

Riot should compensate Adrian's unannounced absence. If not, a lot of fantasy owners would have lost this week unfairly.

I'll probably be one of them, I picked him to match my opponents tip picks, then I see gate starting. I kept trying to look up info to see if he announced it earlier and I missed it, but every source I've found so far says he confirmed it yesterday. I didn't see gate available for pickup either.

I think Adrian will be back, he's just spending time with family for a couple weeks.

He said he was no longer confident in his play-making abilities. He stepped down cause of that reason. He posted it on TwitLong. That's besides the point, however, many fantasy owners have lost their weeks which should have been won. There were no warning to this. PS: Riot PROMOTED Adrian as a top pick in "Love/Hate LCS week 8"

Huh. That's sad. I'll miss Adrian. But in any case, yes, they should probably give Gate's points to Adrian owners, but they probably won't. They should give Gate to Adrian owners in exchange for Adrian, but they won't. It's a good thing I own Rush and Apollo, but not Adrian XD

My hopes for next season: we pick for team positions rather than individual players. Swaps and unforeseeable events could be remedied that way. I like the idea of picking individual players (especially if you have favorites), and that could potentially be a placeholder when you go to draft for that position; that is, to see the current player filling a given role on a team.

I could not agree more

I love that idea. It makes the whole backup/substitute thing less annoying. I haven't personally had a problem with it, but it really sucks for people who have.
