Bug or Flaw?

So my opponent this week started p1noy as his adc and overpow as his top and, after they were locked, ended up dropping both of them and picked up 2 other players, but is still getting points for both p1noy and overpow. Is this how the league is supposed to work? Is it not an issue that he is effectively denying 2 other potential players for another team? I feel like if the player is no longer on your team, you should no longer get points for them or else i could start a roster of eu and just swap them all for na players once the roster is locked and I would have 2 full teams.

Could someone tell me if this is working as intended or if this is just a flaw in the design of fantasy lcs as a whole? Thanks

Edit: I might have been mistaken on this one. I just realized that in my matchup he continues to get points, but on the "my league" home page, he hasn't actually gained any points today. Could someone then tell me which of these scores is the legitimate one?

Lol, you're misunderstanding a bit friend. Let me explain...

His Eu players are locked in, so yes they'll be earning him points this week. Since he dropped them, that means they are available to pickup for next week. Since the Na players he picked up were in the free agent pool, he's not denying anyone picks. He picked up players that nobody wanted at the time, so he didn't technically deny players since his competitors could have also picked them up at any time.

It can be used strategically, once you know the eu roster you want for that week, you can start picking players for next week. You could even drop them to free up slots for NA players if you haven't decided your na roster for the week, but you also risk someone else picking up those players once you drop them. Since he only earns points for the roster he locked in, it isn't exploiting any bugs.

Also, the points are glitching right now, so there isn't a way to determine what he's earning, but he should be earning for p1noy and overpow.
