Genderbend Jinx Cosplay help

Sorry if this isn't the right place for this, it's my first post.

I'm working on designing a genderbend (guy version) jinx cosplay. I think I have some good ideas. I'm running into some trouble with her hair though. I don't think two braids will match well with a male character. I'm thinking of either a single braid kinda like Edward Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist, or a more punk style hair with tall spikes. Does anyone have any suggestions for the hair?
