Fiora Rework Discussion
So I know she has just come out recently, all perked up and all, but I'm having a really hard time with her mechanics. Yes, it's new, and maybe it'll take some time, but honestly, hitting her passive is sort of hard. I'd like to start with her original abilities. I never really played much, but have gone against too many Fiora's to know her abilities. She originally had a double dash, which was freaking annoying since she had such gap closures and all. I'd like to bring that back with the rework. Her new Q has a passive where, if she hits an enemy with her Q, the cooldown is reduced by a whopping 60%. Here's my suggestion: with the double dash, both Q's must hit an enemy in order to get the 60% cooldown, and they have a 2 second window to reactivate the for the second Q. I was thinking of making it, if each Q hits an enemy it's cooldown is reduced by 30% per dash (A.K.A the 60%), however, I really liked the idea of a BIG punishment. If she just uses her two Q's without hitting an enemy, the cooldown remains at it's fullest. Meaning that if she doesn't make it count, then she'll get punished. Another thing, I know her Q applies on hits too, and because of the double dash that I want, I'd like to nerf its damage if you guys (community) think it'll be an issue.
I had also wanted to see a change with her new W too. I was really angry that it only worked against hard CC. Honestly, it's good and all, but hard CC isn't really the only that can kill you. I played some games with her, and a good example of what I mean by non-hard CC champs, is Katarina. Yes, she's an assassin, it's to be expected. But with the range on her Q and the small dodge window from her W, there really isn't much of a way to "outplay" the enemy summoner. Although, I have seen an enemy Fiora use her W at the right time, to block a Karthus ult and a Cailtyn ult, but I wasn't surprised. With the double dash on the Q, I'd gladly overlook this issue. However, if not, here's my suggestion for the W: It'll be like a spell shield, thus making her the third champion with a spell shield but whatever, however, the window it has will remain at it's .75 second. All it will do is reverse any kind of CC or status effects. So for stuns, it'll stun the first enemy hit. Slows, it'll slow along with the 50% attack speed reduction it normally had. As for knock backs and knock ups, they are pretty much the same thing, so what I wanted was for the counter to be a small knock back similar to Vel'Koz's W. Blinds, burns, or poison (all of those stuff) will also be reversed too. So let's say, Teemo, for example (because he's a little evil rascal). The blind will be reflected back at him if he is hit by the W. Other than that, the damage for Fiora's W is fine. Another thing to point out is, Fiora doesn't have any CC other than a slow and possibly a stun.
If you guys have any thoughts about this, please comment. I don't even know if it'll be looked at by Riot, but everyone's opinion would still be great. If you don't know about the new Fiora all too much, please play her on PBE and tell me about your experience.
