**Skins (open for submission) ** General appearance. Height: 6’0” Age: 26 Size: Somewhere between Yasuo and Tryndamere Skin: Pale White Hair: Mid length but spiked (Color:White/Silver) Ryukai adorns a japanese like Haori, not wearing anything under other than wrappings covering his midsection. Wears loose pants that are tucked into his combat boots. at the waist is a thick black belt holding the sheath to his blade Izanagi. Izanagi is a 5’ ¾” long sword with the handle being 1’ ½” and his blade being the remainder 4’ ½”. The center of Izanagi is made of Freljord true ice, tempered with a hard steel edge.

Abilities

Ice fang (Passive)

The first hit landed on opponent from Izanagi reduces the enemy Attack speed 10/20/30 and Walk speed 35/50/70 for 1.5 seconds. Takes a 7 second refresh time per champion.

Arctic Cleave (Q) Cost: No Cost Range: 425

AOE Cone attack. The main damage will be done to the first hit champion and the secondary damage to all those behind. (Must be in the cone to deal secondary damage.

Cuts at the air in front of Ryukai casting a sharp wave of ice to shoot from the blade of Izanagi dealing 50/90/110/155/200 (+ 80% Attack Damage) to the main target or first champion hit and then 35/59/83/107/131 (+ 60% Attack Damage) to all champions in hit by the ice. The ice the freezes the wound suffering the hit champions a 45/50/55/60/65 movement slow (no modifier)

**Crystal Dance **(W) **Cost: **No Cost Range: 500

Ryukai makes 6 swords of Ice and launches them out from around him.

Shooting from Ryukai hitting an opponent the ice blade deals 50/80/115/150/190 (+ 35% Ability Power)

**Ascending Snow **(E) Cost: No Cost Range: 400

The air around Ryukai becomes much colder and much thinner giving him a quicker sense of movement.

Ryukai dashes towards an opponent and slashes upwards at the Champion dealing 35/50/65/90/115 (+ 75% Attack Damage) and knocking the opponent up into the air. With a burst of cold from the swing of Izanagi snow falls with the opponent.

**Glacial Rend **(R) Cost: No Cost **Range: **350

Ryukai uses his last resort move and blinks to units in cast range and strikes them for heavy damage. Can only hit targets rooted by the initial cast.

Ryukai thrusts Izanagi into the ground flash freezing the ground around him and freezing enemies feet in place. Ryukai then blinks to the stunned targets slashing them with heavy damage dealing 150/275/400 (+ 90% Attack Damage)

Back Story

Ryukai Grew up in Freljord. He was a young hardy warrior who belonged to one of the many tribes that fought for power. His tribe was The Frost Guard, who were a noble and peaceful tribe that guarded against evil creatures, but also had a secret unknown to many. The Frost Guard were decedents of iceborn and through much focus and training (at a young age) could channel through themselves the power of ice and snow, becoming one with the cold, or so legend had said for none in his tribe could ever meet such feats. Ryukai was one who had fallen in love with such an idea of having power to save his lands but could never succeed in training hard enough to awaken his powers. During his youth Ryukai found a girl who also longed for her powers to awake and they trained together for days, months, and years. During their years of training no one had ever been able to awaken such powers slowly causing Ryukai to lose faith in the legend of his tribe. He left his tribe and his new friend in order to see if the jaws of death could awaken his powers. He ventured on and spoke to many tribe elders, all of which never spoke to him until they had fought a most brutal fight. Ryukai managed to only just live in most of his fights until one elder told him of a blade quenched in moon light and frozen into a mountain top, just past a tribe of creatures known as Trolls, The blades name was Izanagi and was told to unlock the secrets of old to those who could take it from its resting place for it was a blade of old and crafted of True Ice. Ryukai bowed to the elder and before he could leave the elder warned him that pulling the blade from its sleep would awaken an ancient creature that no one has ever seen before. Ryukai paid no mind to the elder and secretly returned to his tribe, to gather supplies for a long road, but looked to go unnoticed to keep his new findings private.

Upon return to his tribe he had noticed that they were having a tribe meeting and the young girl he had trained with had become the successor of the tribe though it was not long after her speech in front of the tribe she returned to her tent. Ryukai thought much of his friend and wished to bid her farewell. Sneaking up to her tent he saw her talking to another tribe member whom he had not seen before. Not long into their discussion did this new tribeswomen murder his friend before his eyes, as he watched from the shadows, he saw this woman take her identity. Ryukai knew he was no mach for this new opponent and ran to the mountain the elder spoke of. He ventured for months through sheer cold and surviving on little to no rations, when he finally came upon the mountain the elder had described. It was one of the tallest mountains in all of Freljord, Ryukai took camp for a night in a cave near by and looked over the mountain, when during the night he noticed one of the Trolls leaving the mountain. The troll had a purple hue of mid length hair and beard, it was tall and monstrous, though it seemed distracted and had been storming away from the mountain laughing. Ryukai was unsure of what to think of this but watched the path it took down to ensure he would not follow it up into its camp. The next morning Ryukai began his long journey up the mountain and kept a cautious eye on the path the troll had left behind. It took him two days to climb this mountain having to stop due to the thin air and to continue pushing on through the even colder conditions, but his will never wavered he was to draw this blade with new purpose. He was to avenge his old friend, killing the false leader with his new found powers and reveal the truth to the Frost Guard. On the third night he reached the peak of the mountain under a full moon and saw the blade hilt just sticking out of the mountain peak. Ryukai began to wonder if the tale was true or just a trap set by the old man for trolls to eat the fools he told the story. Ryukai grew curious kneeling by the hilt and grasped it tightly letting his faith take hold of him. When his hand took the hilt he felt a surge of cold rush over his body and his muscles began to tighten. He could no longer feel his hand, then slowly his arm and the rest of his body, but he could not let go. The cold held him in place for a good while and when the moon had shone directly over Ryukai and the hilt. The cold in his body turned to heat and he regained the comfortable feel of his body. He grew hotter and begin to sweat in all of his clothes. He slowly pulled at the hilt ,but it did not fight him, and he begun to slowly unsheathe it from the mountain. The blade was a good length and had to stand in order to finish drawing it, The ice blue handle was beautiful as it descended down into the blade, with an edge made of ice, sharper then any blade he had seen before. He felt the mountain begin to crack under his feet and he ran down the path he traveled up, but the cracking stopped and out shot a little creature that had been under the ice where Izanagi was. The a little orange creature sprang forth from the ice, frost still clinging to its fur. creature Ryukai did not stay long enough to see what would happen. As if by nature he took Izanagi and slashed it down the face of the mountain, imagining a ice path to use as a slide, and so it appeared and he slid down it as a method of quick escape and made away in the night. In the following morning he found a patch of trees in the tundra and shaved out a sheath for his new blade Izanagi to keep its identity hidden.

Years come to pass and Ryukai is much older and very in-tune with his ice powers and has slain many tribes claiming to be in relation with The Frost guard looking for information on their leader as well as often taking jobs as a sellsword for those not strong enough to survive on their own in the lands of Freljord. One day he was hired with a lot of gold to kill a woman named Ashe, He was curious as to why so much gold until he found who she was. Coming across her tribe the Avarosan he asked around her tribe curious of her cause. When he found the young queen and king he sat with them to see if he could join their tribe. Ashe was hesitant but informed Ryukai more on the Frost Guard. Ryukai was shocked as to the truth and had asked a favor of Ashe. If he could work without money in means of winning the war with the Avarosan and bringing peace to Frejlord. Ashe had accepted him in to the Avarosan. Ryukai thanked her for what she was willing to do for him and looked to the King. Hopefully one day I will be able to spar with you my King. I have heard of your battle prowess all across Freljord. Ryukai said bowing to the Barbarian King who only laughed as Ryukai left the hall to train, on the grounds he found some new gear and wore it proudly. He wore a haori with the Freljord symbol emblazoned on the center of the back.
