[Request] Help With Lore
Good day to everyone who shall take their time to read this.
I'm in desperate need of help, because the community gives me hard times, bashing me personally for making grammar issues. I'm not an American/Britain nor is english my native language, but I think that there are people with way heavier communication problems. However, I'm currently working on a upcoming Champion of mine that'll be sooner or later released, depending on the progress I'm doing with the Lore. As an little introduction of him, I'll start to describe him and then post the Lore, so y'know first and foremost how and if the Lore fits the Character.
Description:
A twenty-seven year old man, wears a black overcoat and has big headphones which are normally around his neck instead on his ears placed. He's a detective in Noxus, the only one detective. He's half ionian and half noxian, but feels patriotism for his fatherland, Noxus. He's a strong character who can find the truth pretty fast, and he solves his problems by only using his legs, his hands are mostly in his pocket placed. All in one, I combined three characters in one, to fit his role and his purpose in the League: Appearance and personality - Dante from Devil May Cry; personality and quotes - Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthuer Conan Doyle; little from personality and quotes - Hercule Poirot by Agatha Christie. Does somebody can give me also some ideas for a title? I'm currently struggling with The Struggling Detective. Update: "Nero, the Vigilant Detective" sounds perfect.
Lore:
"Noxus is a place known for its cruelty and agony, screams which can be heard along the streets and alleys, like the death had approached on those who find themselves get lost in its chaotic government. As many should know, Noxus does have its very own problem with various other countries, but neither of them were close to be extincted and conquered, as Ionian once was.
The detective, who once found a new corpse and eventually a new victim, already knew that his day was going to be ruined. In the morning, when Noxus has its moments of silence, when the people slowly wake up, a dead body was found hanged on the lanterns in the middle of the town square. No ordinary murder could have done it, as his victims body was hard to identify, his whole skin was peeled off. As one of the fewest identical cases, the murder had to be the same as in the earlier cases. And in the same case, a black rose was found with a paper "Greetings to the Underworld - Black Rose" written on it.
Nero does have his way of investigating, but it was very harsh and quite annoying for him, being the only one detective in Noxus. His reputation was amongst most Noxians amiss, as he wasn't just the only one investigating cases of homicides, but the only one who was always successfull. Despite of his sucess rate, his origin was also known to be from both Ionia and Noxus, where as his father - a soldier of Noxus, had found his love in Ionia, but was decapitated with his love, months after Nero was born.
Because of the fact that Nero was defeating the crime in Noxus, the most terrifying place for innocent peoples and in the same time a paradise for criminals, and both being an Ionian, was not nearly comfortable as it may sound. Even though as an orphan, he grabbed the chance to try a new start out of the blue, and so he decided to be a fighter against the crime, to gain the reputation and fame he wanted.
The Black Rose, a mysterious group that was being said to be classified as very dangerous, as they murder those who knew about the existence of its members, hence dead bodies appeared on the streets. Unfortunately there was no any hints about the connection between them, because their identity was lost within their lost skin.
Nero was close to call it a day while he returned to his workshop, as he found a new deformed body, but this time the blood was fresh. The detective immediately had his watch above a rooftop as he climbed at it.
After a brief overlook of the city of Noxus, while in the same time catching several crimes happen and a fire started in the market place, he saw how someone with a murderous speed was leaving away from the crime scene, and so Nero chased after him.
Right in front of Neros eyes, the person he was close to capture, was decapitated by a single dagger, and so Nero kept an eye out for the assassinator, while he examined the body. A black rose with a notice flew right on the dead body, which letters said "There is only place for one Black Rose".
The case was closed and still, Nero bothered his head all the time, hence he entered the Institute of War to investigate the Black Rose and its members, and their future plans of disturbing the illusive peace of the barbaric Noxus."
"Everyone is a potential murderer-in everyone there arises from time to time the wish to kill-though not the will to kill." - Nero
