Am I going crazy or is Lulu not a support anymore , Rant and Suggested Remake .

Well i have been playing lulu almost religiously trying to make her work as a support for 2 years and i have about given up. first im the type of player that picks something i like and can relate too and learned everything about it . and that was Lulu . i have played her in every position and every build i can think of . Im not a offensive minded player so i mainly stick to support role. but i have some complaints with her as of late and i need to ask if i can please get a rewrite on lulu's kit soon because the more i play her the more i see her getting out played by newer supports or even non supports now . its almost as if support has no place in games . if you dont have a stun,or root, or directional knock up you can be a support.

So let me explain by the ability .....and after i will give some examples of what can be done to redo her kit to be more of a support.

Pix , Faerie Companion : the extra damage from this auto attack is nice but with all the nerfs and it cant be used to attack structures what about it screams support or mage for that matter i find its only use os when i use help pix on my teammate to give them a small boost to there damage all tho vary little ..

Glitterlance: ..slows just don't cut it anymore in this new meta yes it can hit 2 directions and a slow but both damage and slow are horrific numbers . it feels like both are there as a joke , i used to use a item to add more slow to it but now i cant stack slows so ...it cant compare to stuns or roots .

Whimsy: this is ok it helps on one on one fights and the speed boost gets be into lane. now a lor of people say this ability completely shuts down champions ut so far in my time i find it only got me in to killing range ...even maxed out it dont last long enough and it dont stop everything spin moves or escape moves apparently still work , i don't know if this is a glitch or not but i have seen people use flash and it cancels the polymorph and they flash out . its just not up to par with the stun/root ,distance knock up of other so called supports

Help, Pix! : this i use a lot and i have gotten good at shielding allies before a incoming attack but the problem i have with it is the damage creep is so high now a shield truly means nothing, champions chew threw it like tissue paper, it was amazing when i could shield a minion from one cannon shot to get that good last hit in and shoot from it to discourage engage with a joke of a slow but that was changed , i can't shield a turret like janna and if i place a shield on a ally that's chasing and try to aim a glitter lance if don't matter where the ally is it will shoot from the point pic was at the time of the set up and not where he is at the shot

Wild Growth: the ultimate universal button that is one part slow one part knockup , and one part added hp that so far havent been able to turn the tide in a battle in the last few games .....so we know slow dont work right now , but directional knockups do but why not this .....because it only knocks up what is right on the target and its seems not like a knock up because for some odd reason in the middle of the knock up you can still escape from it with all the normal escape moves /flash or vayne's tumble . and lets not forget the added at most hp ....do def no shield just a bit of hp that gets shredded away so quick . i can recount so many amazing support ults that has caused kills or prevented them . but this just seems to delay the inevitable death of the target i use it on when they get jumped.

so now what would i like to see as a kit change for a support lulu and dive more into her fairy story line. i wish for a new theme i think needs to be implemented in this game . a summoner spell/ wards disruptor because with flash being the go to tool to get in or out but there is no counter for it save for your own flash seems kind of boring, lets see what i can come up with

Pix , Faerie Companion: keep it like it is, but make it like Kalista's passive that you can equip pix to a adc and it stays there untill you chose a new target to equip it . let not be able to be used as lulus auto so it has to be on someone. this will stop lulu from being a auto attacking reliant and scarring other lanes .

Glitterlance: because fairy magic is otherworldly lets make it just do damage. no slow, no extra shot . but if it hits anything invisible like a stealthed champion hiding in the grass or say a trinket ward it can reveal it for a short time . ( this will make it sort of bush checker and a way to hinder the vision game without getting a red trinket . something i find should be a support job . " its like hide and seek ...the ward"

Whimsy: Is good as is save for one problem .... the enemy can still move and some how use spins . looking at you jungle wukong . either fix this bug or make it a root as well as a polymorphs or

Help, Pix!: Instead of a shield that you can shoot from or direct damage . lets Change it. make it a heal that can only be used on the target pix is attached too so it can sustain a adc or in team fights a tank but not sustain a whole team and out shine other healers

Wild Growth changed to "Fairy's Glade" . take away the slow and the knockup . it puts a symbol on the ground like giant growth but it looks like a warpy thing of colors and tiny fae and things. extend its reach a bit and make it so all with in its space (both ally and enemy) cant use summoner spells . if the target is the same as pix is attached they get a shield as well . it can be used as a not only a anti flash field but also as a look at me i cant get flash away come get me kind of taunt.

These suggested changes will make her more of a support and have a unique niche as well as stopping her from over running top and mid lanes while sticking to the story that she's a otherworldly fae support of whimsy and trickery . ( if you can i want lulu to grow fairy wings as well ....just a thought )
