Hello Community!! In the near future I want to start streaming, but to do so i'll need a better computer than my current macbook pro that is almost 4 years old lol... Cost isn't a big factor but would like to keep it under $3000 dollars (including the screens).
Just a few things I would like: -- -- Dual Monitor -- -- SSD and any other equipment suggestions or suggestions period.

Thank you all for your help.

Alright under 3 grand? Dual Monitor? I gotchu. (All prices based off newegg)

  • Mx100 Crucial 256 GB SSD ($120), should be enough if the only game you're gonna play on it is League, you should consider a secondary 1 TB HDD if you're storing videos on it and stuff.

  • Intel i7 4790k ($340)- will be more than enough processing power, overclockable if need be.

  • Sapphire tri-x r9 290x (2) ($380 each) - top of the line graphics card, might be a little over the top but just crossfire these and both your displays will keep a constant 140 fps no matter what you do.

  • ASUS SABERTOOTH Z97 MARK1 LGA 1150 Intel Z97 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard ($250) Compatible with everything here, easy to install stuff in, just a nice motherboard.

  • NZXT Phantom 001-WT ATX Full tower ($100) Looks awesome, has more than enough room for your gfx cards. Favorite case i've ever used. Room for fans on the top, side, back, and front. Tons of drive bays, fan controller, what more could you ask for really.

  • Acer GN246HL Black 24" 1ms 144hz HDMI 1080p 100,000,000:1 Monitor ($300 each) Low response time, High refresh rate, decent size. Everything you could ask for when playing league.

  • Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO CPU Cooler ($72) Will allow you to overclock and still not go above 35-40 degrees Celsius, amazing CPU cooler (If you use this you wont be able to fit a 120mm fan into the side of your case, which isnt a huge deal.

  • EVGA SuperNOVA 1000W 80+ Platinum Certified Power supply($200), very very nice power supply, platinum certified so it wont eat up your electric bill, and it will power anything you plug it into. Ideal for cross fire

  • Any installation questions can be directed to google, theres tons of websites and youtube videos that will help you build it.

  • GRAND TOTAL: $2442(Add about $100 more for an OS) Note: This computer would run nearly any game flawlessly on highest possible settings, and would allow you to stream high quality without any problems. But remember that you will also need a very high upload speed from your internet provider to stream, especially in high quality. The computer would last you about 10 years I'd say unless gaming companies randomly step up their game and make insanely detailed games, which is unlikely because that would hhurt their sales because no one would be able to run them! :D Remember these are all suggestions, but good guide lines for a top of the line computer, which you'll want if you're streaming all the time. You might also be able to get away with using only one of those graphics cards on two monitors, they're extremely powerful. It's unlikely league would give you troubles with just one, but if you're gonna run it at say 140 fps instead of 60, i'd highly reccomend getting two.

  • Also you might consider getting a gaming mouse with programmable keys on the side, it's a huge help with actives. :) Good luck to you and your endeavors.

There is a very good magazine for this kind of thing called Maximum PC. suggest taking a look at it cause it helped me a lot.
