Rammus Ball! (New Custom Game Mode)
Alright, are you guys ready for Rammus Ball? The concept is simple, 1 person on each team is Rammus, and they have to gather up the most deaths they can in 25-35 minutes. Want more information than that? Keep reading!
Only deaths in fountain count towards the points, and the team must be based around getting their destined rammus to the goal. You are not allowed to take any objectives except Dragon and Buffs, but the Rammus in particular can get no buffs at all besides the global Dragon buff. Rammus will use any means necessary to getting to the goal post, even if it means attacking every once in a while.
Rammus Rules:
- No buffs
- Limited to 3 complete items
Anything else is fine
Also, as a certain precaution, no fights must break out until Minions spawn, wouldn't want the Rammi getting riled up too early. Rammi don't like getting hit all that much either, so keep the attacks to Rammus down to ONLY AUTO ATTACKS AND CC. CC that does damage is still counting as CC, so go nuts Nunu, and snowball all the Rammi. This allows Rammus to only be hurt by the turret fire, which is already hard to get through. Only Rammi get this extra cushion, nobody else. So go crazy on that Alistar protecting him, it'd be a shame if that Alistar to die while taking turret fire, only to leave a vulnerable Rammus. Also, due to the "no team fights till later" rule, Rammi will have to wait patiently on their respective side of the river until minions flood out of both Nexus. After that, go nuts. And one more thing, since objective taking is banned from the game mode, the way to farm is through jungling, so pack a smite if you think you'll need it.
Oh, and as an early addressment to the question, yes Rammi can kill each other.
This game mode can be played on any map, whether it be Twisted Treeline, Crystal Scar, or even Howling Abyss, each will apply the same rules as before. Whether you'd prefer a draft mode or not is up to the host, all the rules have already been explained. Maybe a quick recap is in order though?
Rules:
- No objective taking (minus buffs and dragon)
- 25-35 time limit (or a point limit)
- Each team must have a Rammus to guide to glorious victory, taking Rammus to Fountain to accept a viking funeral of a demise. (points are not gained if Rammus doesn't die in fountain)
- All Rammi must follow the 2 simple rules
- Limit only Auto Attacks and CC on Rammi
- No fights until Minions spawn
- Rammus can not pass the river before minions spawn.
- Only farm jungle, as farming lanes would cause a push that would take objectives.
Most of these are early game rules, as I'm aware, so all the complicated stuff get's out of the way once the 15-20 mark is hit.
Recommended Rammi Stoppers:
- Ashe
- Nasus
- Alistar
- Nunu
- Veigar
Recommended Rammi Helpers:
- Alistar
- Malphite
- Nami
- Janna
- Jarvan
Some Strategies:
- 2 Helpers and 2 Stoppers: The two helpers would lead the Rammus through the jungle and be based around getting the rammus to the fountain meanwhile the stoppers focus on defense.
3 Stoppers and 1 Helper: Make sure you cover every lane and don't let that pesky rammus in, I'm sure 1 helper would be enough to lead the rammus through, just make sure that helper is a damage dealer that can take care of the Stoppers.
4 Helpers: Eh, pretty sure the turrets can handle this, let's all just rush through!
