The Tribunal System: Ways to improve
I think the tribunal system could use some fixing. First off I have yet to actually review a case and the longer it takes the less I check if I can review one. I like how (i'm assuming) the tribunal is not very well known in the League community which is good and bad. I'ts good because there are less trolls and salty players that use it and know about it. I'ts bad because we as a community can't fairly judge a players bad behavior.
Example say their is a rude dude in the rift- he or she gets put to the tribunal. If only 100 people judge the case it wouldn't be as good as say 1,000 people.
(I don't know if this does happen) If you are friends with the person in your case even if they are in the same game as the player then you should't be allowed to judge that case.
POINT SYSTEM: I am aware you guys gave out IP before and I get why you removed it. We could try to bring back IP earnings just in a different way. You could get IP for getting the case right and being with majority of the players and could only get say 500 max IP per month (6,000 IP a year) to get this though you have to be constantly be on the tribunal and getting most of the cases right (500 IP should only be rewarded if they worked their butts of and really tried to make the rift a better place). You could give us summoner icons or just one icon for doing the tribunal constantly- say you stop reviewing cases for 2 or 3 months, the icon you got for being good in the tribunal, riot will just take it away (btw it doesn't have to be an icon, it could even be a ribbon type thing just on the right side of your profile banner and in the loading screen) just like you guys take away ribbons you could take away tribunal things
WAY TO GET SPAMMERS OFF: make them pay IP to review 5 cases or something costs 25 IP or less (I don't know a good price point for that) so they know if they don't take the time to look over the case they just wasted 25 IP or less reviewing it. this goes well with the point system I talked about early where if you do good enough and try/take your time in reviewing cases players could turn make a little profit like if they do good by paying 100 IP to review 20 cases and do decent at them or really good they could make around 200 - 500 IP in return.
Please tell me your ideas and tell me if these plans are flawed in anyway.
