League of Legends Chess anyone? (We have 3D Print and the models to create a chess pieces)

Hey guys, this is Caporai from League of Legends wiki. Currently playing as WickedKing in EUW.

Back before I had a thread about League of Legends Chess and that was before Shyvana's patch in Season 2. http://img3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20111016213215/leagueoflegends/images/2/24/Caporai_LOLChess.png Now we have reached up to over 120 champions, which can fill more champion for each factions. Also we can use 3D prints to print out champions from the game using their model (Like how Surrender@20 checks out the contents coming from PBE)

Currently I'm poor, but I love to see a real Chess Set where champions are pieces while the pawns are either minions or a pet.

Here's a list of champions and pets and what they represents. (if there are more champions from their resp. faction, they can act as a reserving pieces when a pawn manages to reach to the other side of the board):

There are more to come, but so far this is what I've come as now, since my last thread disappeared, making all of this work on thread a waste of time.

Anyway, I hope you guys (including at the Riot) manage to make it come true.

Yours truly.

People take queens when pawn promote. Their is no point in extra pieces that are not queens.

WickedKing1 votes

Well, it's true... but there's a moment where a promoted Knight will pull checkmate.

Angry Monster1 votes

you are talking one in a million. Where if you get the queen you can pull mate anyways

WickedKing1 votes

Sniff... I'm one of those million who got caught by it.. twice.

Beside, if you want to have queens (who are female champs), you can always swap other female champs that are bishop, rook or knight into male champions. If a queen is lost we can revive it through promote.

Anyway, who wouldn't want to have their favorite champion on the board? You can also arrange your chess set to your liking. who stops you from doing that?

I wish you could use ability icons here. Then we'd have Piltover with Heimerdinger's turrets instead of the Hextech revolvers.

Also, we need more champs for these people!

EDIT: Fixed Orianna and Vi, that was a mistake on my part

Vi is definitely a Rook with her Vault Breaker

BetaDude401 votes

Oh, yeah, whoops.

Switch Orianna with Vi, Mr. WickedKing. I made a typo

Switch Orianna with Vi, Mr. WickedKing. I made a typo, as you can tell from Acadiaum's post.
