[Prologue] The Fall of the Watchers - Immortal ally back in action

Centuries ago when Runeterra was nothing but a country of frozen deserts, when only a frozen heart was elected to survive - It was the time of the Watchers, indeed.

What if the downfall of the Watchers wasn't so easy at all?
What if one man could've stopped Avarosa and the Watchers would still live today?

This is the story of Ograine and Avarosa, who travelled far too much away from the eyes and claws of the Watchers.

Ograine: "Where is this cave with the remnants Avarosa?"
Avarosa: "Don't be deceived by the ice storm, it is very near. Don't worry.."

Both on the way to a cave where Avarosa promised remnants, so powerful to defend the Watchers from any threat - Avarosa found the cave and both went inside

Ograine: "I don't see any remnants, explain to me now!"
Avarosa: "Silly boy, who would place remnants in the middle of the room?"
Ograine: "You think I can just take the time and search for something that might not be here? The Watchers need me to protect them, it was already foolish enough of me to follow you in this place"

Avarosa seemed to be bored by Ograine's accusations and continued "Just keep searching somewhere behind, it must be there"

Ograine, though felt something was fishy, continued to go deeper in the cave and begun to search.

The more Ograine kept searching, the more he felt a powerful source. When Ograine finally thought to found something, he turned his back to call Avarosa, but...

Avarosa was casting a powerful spell and aimed for Ograine - She released the spell on Ograine and captured him in true ice - True ice which is said to be solid as diamond and live forever.

Back to our time - After the Ice Witch Lissandra took over the Frostguard tribe, she had built a new army. In her presence as Princess Lissandra, she slowly took over the land with her black ice and after a while, it had reached the cave where Ograine and his body was captured in true ice. Immediately released from the seal by the black ice, Ograine was weakened and didnt knew anymore where he was, but he knew that Avarosa betrayed him.

After leaving the ice cage, Ograine knew that something would be wrong and he walked to the next seen village, asking for the Watchers. The Villagers laughed at Ograine and told him that this is only a bedtime story. Surprised and afraid at the same time, Ograine went to the Frostguard tribe where a Seer would live there and may tell what happened to the Watchers

On the destination arrived, Ograine tried to search for the Seer and asked then on the streets and peoples told him that the Seer was dead and he could instead go to Princess Lissandra and ask there. So he decided to go there and as Lissandra, the Ice Witch saw the ancient Guardian of the Watchers, she told him everything about the Rebellion and even the identity of herself.

"I am sorry to tell you, but the Watchers were vanished." said a voice within a large room that was veiled by darkness. Ograine, the Frostguardian of the Watchers was shocked, but then he said "But how? Avarosa betrayed us and sealed me in infinite ice. How could Avarosa ever be so powerful to kill the Watchers?".

"Killing? Who said the Watchers were killed?" the voice became louder as the person behind the voice came near to Ograine. Lissandra stood in front of Ograine and he was astonished. "I-I dont understand anything. Explain to me, what happened to our great Watchers and especially you?" asked Ograine suspiciously.

"Well, as Avarosa sealed you away, the one who could have turned everything in right place, a group of - so called - heroes attacked the Watchers as we all were out of sight. Avarosa left the place and was never found again. I, who knew that the Watchers will not return soon, had feign my own death and I lived in the underground to build up once again the reign of the Watchers." proudly said by Lissandra, the Ice Witch. Ograine asked *** "And how does it come that you are here? Do they know your identity? Because they said on the street you were princess Lissandra"***.

"Oh that.. I've taken the identity of princess Lissandra and killed the real princess in order to stay at her place and rule from the throne. Before, I was a old woman, the seer of this tribe, and I've taken my chance at the right time." she said, as if it was nothing worth mentioning.

Ograine kneed down and plead Lissandra "I will serve you now. I was chosen by the Watchers to be the Guardian of the land. Two of the sisters betrayed our country and you, Lissandra, are the only one who wants to see the Watchers return. I will share your dream as your Guardian." "Very well, you'd be a great ally. Not only because of your mighty black ice power. It is also useful to have a very loyal companion who's not trying to kill me behind my back. Sadly, there are so many liars and betrayers like back then in our century." with the last words of Lissandra, both made their plans for the future.
