Din't quite know where else to put this, but it's an Idea for a featured game mode I had. If you think it would be better placed elsewhere, please let me know in comments. TY.

Creep Hunt

**Summary and Run Down of History and inspiration ** (Skip this if you don't care! I know not many will.) Many players of the LoL community know that league of legends was originally inspired by the Moba scene during Warcraft 3's big era of custom game making. What some of those players don't know however, is that some of those custom game modes and maps got far more play than many mobas in that time, one of which was the classic 'Tag' game mode. 'Tag' was absolutely one of the most enjoyable, friendship destroying, game types of this time. You would have two teams of the 'Its' and the 'runners' and the its would, like any game of tag, chase the runners around the map in an attempt to attack them. When hit, the runner would be sent to the designated 'tagged' location where they would be stuck at until a fellow team member ran through and released them from the location. Now, these tag games were rather enjoyable, but of coarse not everyone wanted to be 'It'. After awhile more maps were made to increase the experience by adding AI's for those people that were stuck on LAN settings with a small number of other players and didn't have enough people for a full game. One of these game modes that was released was a personal favorite of mine and many other players, 'Kodo Tag'! Kodo Tag was perhaps the most enjoyable game mode that didn't require players on both factions. Kodo Tag revolutionized the tag game mode by having a better AI system than its predecessors and held a rather devoted following after a time to maintain a good AI system and experience. Due to these factors it remains an enjoyable game mode for many gamers who played WC3 during this on the rare occasion. The game mode itself had eleven payers on one side with the final player slot being dedicated to the AI system. The game would act like any other game mode only this mode added the bonus system of buildings, allowing players to build little barricades and towers to defend themselves as the number of 'Kodo' would increase every X time. As the number of the Kodo increased so too did the difficulty of surviving for the time duration of 25 minutes. When the clock finally ran out the game would end and if anyone remained alive then the players won, however should every player have been captured by the Kodo than the AI emerged victorious upon capturing the last remaining player. In addition to Kodo tag having the added bonus of a better AI system than previous tag games and buildings that added a tower defense feel to the game, it also had runner types. Now having different runners with different abilities wasn't new or unheard of during this time, but was probably the most renown tag game that had it. The player, prior to spawning, would choose the runner they wanted. Each runner had a number of abilities to use to CC a Kodo that was about to grab them and had a specialized tower that they could upgrade their towers to with its own special stats. Kodo tag is the inspiration for this forum to be created. I and many others would love to see a game mode created for League of Legends, if for only a simplified version of Kodo Tag, with the champions being chased around the map by neutral creeps in an attempt to achieve vengeance for the way they've been treated in game as resources.

Ideas for a simple featured game mode The easiest way for a game mode to be built like this would be to use Summoner's rift, being the biggest, and have players spawn blue or purple side and creeps could spawn opposite side. The fountain will not be a safe haven, so the fountain defense must be removed. The towers on the other hand would be a choice decision based on how gameplay is going in Public Beta. Either the Champions health must be decreased or the creeps damage increased to the point where players won't be able to tank the creeps for more than a hit or two. Creep Hunt would have the neutral creep camps spawn Raptor camp first to chase down players. Wolf camp would spawn with raptors next and have faster move speed than the raptors and then we'd see Krug's and scuttler's. Then of course we'd see Red, and blue buff camps with a bit of Gromp and After a bit of time for the players to settle into a rhythm the creeps may spawn a dragon, and further down perhaps Baron for added difficulty. I can already see the issue that presents itself as an obvious problem. Stealth. Scuttler's could be the stealth hunters, being given the ability to be mobile pink wards and stealth sniffer's for those pesky teemos. Now a certain change could be made to the game mode upon where instead of being chased by Baron at all the players will be transported to the creep's base after a certain amount of time, long enough to buy some items and increase their stats via some way of gathering gold. When transported the players will be forced to face off against b\Baron for victory or death! During the fight the walls of the camp will be closed off or the other creeps will instantly despawn after the players have been transported to the final fight.

And of coarse I do have an idea for a full on build up for the game mode, but at the moment I just want to post this for Featured Game Modes unless it gets good votes.
