League of Legends + DnD?

Me and my friends are wishing to do a League of Legends D20 idea for DnD. Whenever I ask about it, players assume the wrong idea that "every creep and turret attacks and gets stats, etc.". They are wrong. What I'm assuming is a lore based world of Valoran to be explored and dungeoneered. There are so many social interactions to be made and discoveries to unfold. The champions of League of legends also could make some canon entrances in the world as your hero adventures from town to town. That's why I was interested in a Valoran D20 or something of the sort. League of Legends lore inspired Dungeons and Dragons. I am interested in developing it if I could get help? (also, I was iffy on what forum this would go under, I hope I made the right choice. If not, admin may move the thread)

Try checking in with MrKarato (NA). I recall that some Factions people were putting a Pathfinder campaign together. If you can't reach MrKarato, then someone in the Factions chat should be able to direct you.

What are you looking for here?

It's not hard to run D&D or another system in the setting of Valoran, if you're only interested in the setting. Just read up on the setting, decide how you want to present it, and go.

The bigger work comes if you want to actually modify or write a system for this game. In that case what is the scope of the project? Do you just want some custom classes for D&D? Do you want a whole new system that better represents the setting of Valoran?

I could assist as well, but the scope would have to be well defined. Are you simply looking for lore references so that you could just put a D&D game in valoran? Are looking to create a campaign setting based off of Valoran and its themes with custom classes, items, races (yordles)? Are you trying to make a d20 game system which will make you feel like one of the champs from league (new classes, abilities, power systems)? What version of D&D would you want to be basing this system off of?

Not trying to overload you, just hoping to provide some direction so it could accurately be achieved.

Some characters, like Warwick wouldn't be hard. WW would pretty much be a werewolf stuck in hybrid form. As for some of the more exotic options, I would say that you should look at abilities and creatures of about the same CR and modify their abilities to fit the character.

Example: Xerath

Start with the base elemental stats for a medium sized elemental.

From there, make the following changes.

Type -> Outsider (Elemental, Arcane)

Remove "Burn" change to Arcane Touch. Pretty much just give it Magic Missile x/day depending on HD.

remove elemental fire traits, replace with Spell Resistance (low, we don't want him to be absurd)

Adjust feats/skills as you want.

And just add Wizard or Sorcerer levels as needed.

Here's something you might want to think about using. I was in a couple of groups using this until they both fell apart because the DMs got too busy. http://roll20.net

It's free and really quite handy.

Just quick advice, if you haven't started would be to look for help on setting up the entire d2220 rules and world, would be to go to giant in the playground
