[Pre-Shadow Isles] Thresh
(I'll just deliberately copy what I just wrote in my Deviantart description here, too.) XD
I've been thinking about this pre-Shadow Isles idea in my head for too long. I think I want to share it now before I go crazy with the stories that come up. What's the "Pre-Shadow Isles"? Consider it like what is the opposite of "shadow". I thought it would be called "The Radiant Isles" (andIsweartogodifthatnameistakenIwillhavetochangeitthen) ^^;
Yes, I've been researching the League of Legends lore somewhat since Riot decided to change it now, hehe. I'll just work with this fanfiction of mine along with it.
This one will introduce the series~!
His name is Thresh. His future may be a "jailer", a tormenter of souls. His past is somewhat different. I'll still relate some future traits to this past self of him. His hooks (WHAT NO LANTURN? Yes, no lanturn...yet ^^) used to be what he used when he was a soldier. Later, he would use them for wheat-picking. (I sort of researched what Thresh's hook was referenced from. It was made for wheat. Oh my god. I could totally work with that.) When he grew up, he lived off in his wealth of giving wheat to the Radiant Isles* townsfolk. (I smell bread-baker Thresh here ^^;) Every year, there comes a time when there is a "Wheat Festival" that Thresh leads. It was made for such couples who wants to find their truest soulmate (Wow, SOUL-mate. Never mind. :3) Thresh couldn't help but pick one for himself, only to pluck half of a red wheat. The other half was still stuck in the ground, waiting for the right pluck. (Hint: Her name is engraved on one of the hooks after her...well...yeah....I am forbidden to say that word for now) That one hook would turn into the infamous Lanturn when the storm of shadows ensues.
I kind of based his appearance off his future look: Green hair, green eyes, everything green, maybe a black noble suit. I'm using the chibi style to get a first drafted image of what he'll look like. I can't make a full body straightforward or even a portrait yet. I'll add more if I get more ideas about his character. But it will be developed when I make more pre-Shadow Isles champions~! :D Why does Thresh look "human"? Well, I sort of pictured it from Karthus's old lore that he used to be mortal. I went on from there. :3 (I still want to keep practicing on drawing noses as you can see. I feel like it's not perfect yet)
