Cashing in on the dork in Smorgesdork with some @leagueoflegends baking. This is Ziggs' Dirty Bomb Cake. Testing out recipes and designs for desserts, dinners, and apps for LCS Worlds this Fall, and decided to actually share my experiments. Much like the Hexslposive Expert Ziggs, I too like an explosion or too, but I prefer flavor explosions. 10 out of 10 would do this again, and I hope you try out my recipe. ^^

This is awesome and you are awesome! Moar League themed food! I too hope to have quite the spread of League foods for Worlds watching myself.

(I recently made Ziggs cake pops only somewhat successfully. Word to the wise - don't think that bigger is automatically bigger, and try to make cake pops as large as a tangerine - they become too unstable to easily coat in chocolate. It was a delicious, delicious, mistake!)

Thanks! I definitely do plan to make a lot more League Theme Food. It's an oddly large amount of dessert, but nothing wrong with that! Freljord Fried Chicken might be the next dish if I can find some Avarosan game hens. I'll share all my recipes if you want some foodspiration for your World watching spread.

That sounds like the best mistake you can make, a chocolate mistake. :D

Full Disclosure, my friend and fellow summoner Kittifer sent me those recipes and said that I had some competition in craft food creation. It was at that moment that I rose from my keyboard and grabbed my trusty apron, and queued up for cuisine.

The Amumoodles were the first thing I tried out, and it was as delicious as the flavor text for the dish was disconcerting. The Guts of the Krugettes made me squirm a little, but that made it so much more fun. Absolutely love the work put into each delicacy in art, writing, and flavor.

I was kind of sad that I didn't find anymore League themed food items other than poro-snax online (which most people make them like a cinnamon roll, but we both know Poros are carnivores), so I'm hoping to add more depth and detail there as the "Smorgesork" :P

By the way, those Poro-Snax look amazing.

I love me some themed desserts. Have you considered making the icing red or using a red velvet cake recipe instead? His standard bombs just have so much red, I think they might be more iconic if you tied in the red coloring. Regardless, chocolate bombs=delicious.

Absolutely considered it, but I was out of food coloring otherwise I would have made white and red frosting so I could paint it like one of his bombs. I didn't want to do red velvet cake because I like making mix from scratch, and making a cinna-cocao cake base was awesome! I'll be redoing this recipe come worlds, and I have other recipes to test and try. :)
