Well I was playing dota 2 one day and I changed games. You know how Dota has mic chat in game. I think league should add that to the game cause it makes RTS game communication games much easier. I play mainly league but that would be the only thing I do not like league about is that you can't mic chat. If you want to add a mute button for someone who has a bad mic or is mic spamming or figure out something like that. It would probably make teamwork better and it would make better games in my opinion. Please add riot thank you, Put suggestions in the comments please. Thank you. item 3086

side note: Just put a hotkey to talk

  1. Fan Creations isn't the best place for this as you are suggesting an in-game idea and haven't actually 'created' anything. Not being mean, just as a future reference thing. =)

  2. This has been asked for an innumerable amount of times and has been shot down many more times. There are many reasons this isn't a good idea, but my personal favorite is that because voice chat is a legitimate strategic advantage (I think we can agree this is a fact) what happens when someone either doesn't have a mic, is in a situation/area where voice chat wouldn't be useful, or other circumstance preventing him from contributing with this specific advantage. Enter the flamers. This person will be harassed, berated, and reported for 'refusing to communicate'. So what is this person to do? Buy a headset or microphone he/she may not have money for? Or just play bots for the rest of his life?

Other counter-points include "Why would I want a feature if I would just 'mute all' 100% of the time?", "I cannot stand talking to 10-year olds as a 30-year old", and "What makes you think the people who are toxic now will stop when given an easier way to communicate?". Largely pulled off the top my head from other assorted conversations on this exact topic.
