LoL Fitness – Combining League with Tough Workouts
Hello! I am starting a stream that promotes working out and staying in shape while playing league of legends! I tried all kinds of way to keep myself in shape but it’s often difficult to stick to it. So I came up with my own exercise program that incorporates my favorite game. Either carry my team on my back or develop stronger back muscles, either way it’s a win-win.
The idea is that I have a list of exercises for the day. After every death I have in game, I have to do one set of those exercises during my death timer. If I happen to complete my list, I just loop back to the start of it and repeat until I finished a certain number of games. On some days I might not do that many reps if I do well, but on other days if I'm like feeding like no other then I just might do twice as much as a normal day. The idea that the amount I do is based on my performance turns it into a game for me and that makes it fun and enjoyable.
Here are the rules of the stream:
- Every death I will do the next exercise in my queue during my death timer.
- If Teemo scores the kill, the exercises are doubled. (Added by Solistia)
- At the end of the game, I will take my number of deaths and do that many sets of exercises between games.
- If my team surrenders, 10 burpees will be added in the post lobby workout. (Added by Valkyria)
If you have a fun idea for a rule, let me know and I'll implement it in my workout routine! As you can see a couple were added on already by a few viewers.
If you are interested in watching this in action, click here to watch my stream! I'm usually streaming Mondays through Fridays starting at 10AM PST.
If you want to see what exercises I'll be doing today or throughout the week, click here to view my workout routine.
I hope this inspires others to get up and out of their seats even if it's only for 30 seconds at a time. =)
EDIT: I changed a few of the conditions based on the suggestions of other players so it wouldn't negatively impact the game while at the same time making the workout more difficult later in the lobby.
