Machinima Realm just posted this on Facebook, and it looks pretty bad ass, but does anyone even know if such a think is possible? I mean, essentially the loading screen is just that, something to load the game, so i am just assuming something like this wouldn't happen simply because I've never heard of a game having a chat while loading something.
I like this idea- it would give teams time to strategize around the team comps visually and would give much more time for communication before the game starts.

this would never happen bc the chat service runs in an adobe air condition while the game runs in an engine,they are 2 different things if u want this kinda load screen then riot should re-programm the whole game a new,from a to z all over again not to mention if the both modes get combined there will be more holes for hackers to hack and bugs to apppear and harder to fix them so in a nutshell ITS NOT GONNA HAPPEN
Doesn't seem hard for a NEW game to include that. But riot is using a very old game engine. They would have to work their asses off coding that and then fixing all the bugs (Flash is bound to break).
The only real solution would be to add that chat as a overlay. This is actually the easiest option and if it breaks you have the option to 'Hide' the chat client or if it doesn't load you don't really lose anything and the game service wont crash with it.
Yea it won't happen. Not until the next season at minimum. Riot is massively behind DoTA2, and even fucking HoN in terms of features. They have made a dozen promises, Recording -- "Were working on it (Since S2). They can't even fix the Blue advantage over red and its season 5 now. Maybe they can figure it out but its on the bottom of their GIANT bucket list.
