[Champion Concept] Kuroi, the Mask of Death
I recently became some good feedbacks in the old forum community for this Champion, so I thought that I could post it in the beta forum community.
Lore:
"Kuroi Corvus never spoke, never showed feelings, and was always impassible. Not only his silent undoing determined his position in the community of Noxus, also his lack of empathy had carried himself from his childhood on from a traumatized little boy, to a great Necromancer who traumatizes everyone.
Only a handful know, but Kuroi was once a childhood friend of the well-known Tactician and leader of Noxus, Jericho Swain. In his childhood, Swain was not used to have any relation to others, but Kuroi was like Swain, though Kuroi never used his lips to introduce himself. Kuroi was different from the other Childrens, but very similiar to Swain, thus he appreciated Kuroi and had a wonderful childhood.
Till the day arrived and Swain's right leg was snapped in half, unknown reasons behind, only deaf sight left. He turned away and abandoned everything and everyone, including Kuroi.
Kuroi was more than ever lost, and was soon to be forced being an adult with very young years. Neither his family nor any other who had known his name, was caring about him anymore.
Many years passed by and the childhood friends, Jericho Swain and Kuroi Corvus had met again, as Swain was an Officer and Kuroi his companion, who was under the direct control of Swain. Kuroi, one loyal, one desperate warrior, he always fought on Swain's side no matter what happened. In the end he led Swain to the top of the High Commands hierarchy.
At the point where Swain was relegated to inactive status during Ionian Invasion, Kuroi couldn't understand the reasons behind of it, but still fought in the Ionian Invasion. Kuroi felt betrayed, somehow he had feelings that he could'nt had imagined before.
These feelings led him feel superior in battle, as his newly found rage and hatred filled his soul. While being both dead inside and at the same time alive, he exaggerated his capabilities and was caught in a trap by Ionians. A unknown swordsman pierced Kuroi with a sword and he fell on the ground with a deadly wound.
Kuroi's sword fell and the death was near, but while Kuroi's corpse was left behind and all Ionians turned away, he straight got up. In this very moment his eyes were dark as the night itself, his hands became soaked by blood while he was breathing deeply. As if his potential was mysteriously unlocked upon death, from his imagination, all corpses near by on the battlefield came back to life and followed Kuroi's orders and attacked immediately the Ionian army.
Kuroi should have been praised as a Hero, but unfortunately his powers were too frightening for most Noxians. Kuroi had the powers to control the ones who was dead, and so Kuroi's meaning of respecting the life of others came to an end. All of his servants under his control were killed and revived as creatures without free will, only following orders from their master Kuroi Corvus.
As Kuroi was hated amongst the Noxians because he killed most of the army to assure the loyalty to Kuroi, and as Swain came back to his active duty, Swain in his new command as the Leader of Noxus exiled Kuroi out of the government and country.
Hidden beneath everyone's eyes, under the feets of living, Kuroi prepares the best man for his army of undead"
"I've fought with this man for many years, and I can assure you that he never said any word. His true feelings are hidden behind his actions" - Unknown Soldier
Appearence:
Kuroi wears a Black Bird Mask, heavy plate greaves and has a long white scarf.
Kuroi uses black magic to inflict damage over time and summon his servants.
His weapon is a coffin that he wears on his back. From the coffin, he summons his servants.
I've made a picture of what he could look like. http://forums.na.leagueoflegends.com/board/attachment.php?attachmentid=837028&d=1385239218
Possible skins:
Pharao Kuroi, with a sarcophagus, servants are mummies and he could use sand as particle effects.
Zombie Kuroi, with a tombstone, servants are zombies and they would come out of the ground in front of the tombstone.
Void Kuroi, with a dimension portal, servants are voidlings.
Hextech Kuroi, with a giant clockwork, servants are bombs with legs.
[Parody]Tee-Kuroi, with a giant mushroom, servants are little Teemos who explode like Teemo's mushrooms.
[Legendary] Battlecast Kuroi. Kuroi is like Viktor, a fully mechanical being. His plagues are shockwaves. His servants are tiny Battlecast Cho'Gaths which can make sounds when Kuroi dances. The coffin is a small factory and the clouds are black smog. His ultimate would cast a giant battlecast wyrm, which explodes with heavy fire and the cloud appears to be burning ground and a thickened fog appears.
Role:
Kuroi, while heavily depending on mana, can play both top and mid lanes. His abilities concentrate on harassing the enemy and keeping him from his farm. If he decides to do so, his escape abilities are completely zero and without summoner spells, he won't escape a good gank from the enemy jungler. If he decides to play passively or defensively, he can put up his coffin in a safe place and cover his Servants with plagues, to then destroy and clear farm fast enough before the tower can make any shots at them. There is also a possibility to use the coffin as some sorta ward in the bush, but due to the short range, it won't work always. Kuroi is a mage who excels at damage over time and at tactical engage - his Ultimate, though deals great initial damage, is mainly to be used to cover up many enemy units with his plagues. If one enemy target in the explosion is infested atleast with one plague, the plague will go over to nearby enemies.
Of course, the best idea is to cover as many as possible with plagues, but the passive allows Kuroi to be a Tankmage for short time. He gains about 75 magic resist if one target has 5 stacks of plague. That makes 375 magic resist if five enemies are damaged. While it's sorta OP, Kuroi has only a slow and no other possibility to escape. Kuroi receives in the best-case scenario up to 375 magic resist taken by the enemy team at once, and this only for 3 seconds (If not refreshed again with Q or E).
However, because Kuroi can be dangerous in a lane, he can still be a viable Jungler at all. Jungle monsters have no magic resistance or even negative magic resistance. With Kuroi's Q, he shreds the magic resist of the target - but if there's no magic resist to shred, the magic shredding will disappear and instead deal true damage over time.

Concept Explanation:
Kuo-Yen Lo alias "Xypherous" was behind Orianna's work. And I'm amazingly impressed. Not only that he made a unique Concept. The way of seeing things is very different from other designers, and that makes him unique. I want to create a similiar unique concept and I'm trying this right now.
Kuroi is a plague based Warlock and Necromancer. He summons his servants, who can be easily destroyed, but they send forth explosions on the target. Kuroi may throw his coffin at a position where it can stay forever nearby there and summon up to four Servants who attack the enemy. If played perfectly, Kuroi can inflict all of his plagues on the enemy target only by covering his servants with it. His Ultimate will be like Lux's ultimate and Ziggs Q (but reversed - underground beneath), which deals initially damage and more damage over time. Enemies who are infested and are hit by the ultimate, will infest other enemy units near by.
Abilities:
Kuroi's resource is Mana
Passive "Septic Quarantine":
Each plague on a enemy target shreds the magic resist for the duration of the plague. 5/10/15 reduction. In addition, Kuroi receives the magic resist taken for the duration.
If the enemy target has no magic resist to shred, the target receives 20/40/60 true damage over 4 seconds and reduced magic resist is restored. This can't occur a second time within 10 seconds on the same target.
Q(Single-Target, Plague, Damage Over Time) "Black Fever"
Kuroi casts "Black Fever" on a target within 600 range. The target receives each second 20/35/50/65/80 (+20%/23%/25%/27%/30% AP) magic damage for 4 seconds. Subsequent casts of "Black Fever" on the same target will lower the mana cost by 20% and "Black Fever" will stack, but not deal additional damage. Only the duration is reset upon cast. Each stack counts as a Plague and can only stack up to 5 times on the same target.
Enemy targets near by receive the same amount of stacks when infested.
If used on Servant, the Servant is infected for 6 seconds(Can stack). If the Servant dies and explodes, all targets within the range are infested.
Mana Cost: 55/75/80/95/105 Cooldown: 4/3.9/3.8/3.7/3.5 seconds (Cooldown Reduction will not work)
(Explanation: This is the first and the only basic ability that deals huge damage on tactical use. This ability is easy to dodge, but can guarantee heavy damage and a good use of outsmarting the enemy with it.)
W(Summon) "Lemminvants" (Wordplay: Lemmings + Servants)
If cast, the coffin seal opens and two Servants will appear. If the coffin is not placed, the Servants will appear behind Kuroi, where the coffin on his back is. At this point, the Servants will follow only Kuroi and his orders. Servants attack the same targets as Kuroi and comes back if no further actions were taken by Kuroi.
If the coffin stays on the ground and if the Servants are summoned, they attack all enemy units near by, but prefer enemy Champions. Servants can't leave 500 range around the coffin, they will return if they reached the maximum range.
Servants have the same stats as Kuroi, but can be destroyed by only one basic attack or single ability. However, AoE's will only take 1/3 of their life.
If Servants die, they will explode and deal to all targets in a 250 range 30/45/65/80/95 (15% AP) magic damage and will infest those targets with plagues, if the Servants had any.
Servants will exist for 4 minutes and only a maximum of 4 Servants at the same time are allowed. If cast even when 4 Servants are there, 2 of them will die immediately.
Mana Cost: 65/75/85/95/105 Cooldown: 14.5/13/12.5/11/10.5
(Explanation:Kuroi can summon up to 4 Servants around him, they will stay by his side and only attack targets of Kuroi's attacks. If summoned while the Coffin is away from Kuroi, the Servants will stay there and attack all enemy units near by. There is no danger in facing the Servants, as they deal no damage, but are only dangerous if they explode near by.)
E(Totem - Slow - AoE) "Epidemic"
Kuroi throws his Coffin in a 500 range on the ground. While the coffin lands on the ground at the target area, Kuroi releases a epidemic cloud 250 range around him and around the coffin for 3.5 seconds. The epidemic cloud slows enemy targets by 25% and refreshes the duration of all plagues on enemy targets within.
If the two epidemic cloud are used on the same place, the enemy targets receive doubled slow while being in two clouds at the same time.
The coffin can be anytime carried away when Kuroi leaves about 1000 range away from the Coffin or he goes near and picks it up. In both cases, the Servants will meet up with Kuroi.
If the coffin is placed somewhere even when Servants are following Kuroi, they still stay at Kuroi and follow his orders. By summoning, 2 of 4 Servants of Kuroi will die and replaced at the coffin.
Mana Cost: 100 at all ranks Cooldown: 18/16.5/15/13.5/12
(Explanation: This ability allows Kuroi to escape or increase the chance of chasing. It can also be used to strategically place diversion.)
R(Long Range Damage Ability) "Disease Carrier"
Kuroi commands a giant wyrm (http://shadowworld1.files.wordpress.com/2011/11/wyrm2.jpg) that comes from beneath his feet in a direction of 2000 range. The wyrm drills through the ground and comes above and goes down under for many times. It's like Zigg's Q bomb but reversed. On impact, the wyrm explodes and deals to all enemy Champions near by 500 units 150/250/350 (+50% AP) magic damage. After then, a disease cloud appears where the Wyrm exploded for 3 seconds. Enemy Champions who stays within the cloud, will receive a plague that deals each second 15/25/35 (+25% AP) magic damage over 3 seconds.
In addition, enemy Champions who have other plagues from Kuroi, will infect other enemy Champions within the cloud with the same plagues.
The cloud will stay for 3 seconds and disappear then.
Mana Cost: 100/150/200 Cooldown: 130/100/70 seconds
(Explanation: Kuroi deals massive damage upon impact and further damage on Champions which can't escape fast enough. Additionaly, plagues on the target hit by the cloud will infest enemy units near by.)
