[Champion Concept] Ollo, Mercy of the Spores
Ollo is a blue, amorphous humanoid with a longish tail, letting off glowing blue spores into the air behind him as he moves. Two gigantic yellow spheres peer out of what appears to be his face, serving as primitive eyes. He has no other visible facial features. He is peppered with bioluminescent blue mushrooms which wax and wane as he moves. His arms are large, fingerless, almost tentacle-like. his legs are the same sort of construct, just a bit shorter. For his sprinting animation, Ollo might abandon his limbs completely and surge across the Rift as a collective of spores. As an emissary of an ancient force, Ollo is a being from before history was invented. Heavily themed on fungi both poisonous and restorative, Ollo is a utility champion with the ability to hinder and expose his opponents’ weaknesses while providing powerful healing to his allies. His playstyle and influence heavily depends on the choices you make in teamfights, leaving the performances of both teams at the tip of your fingertips.

“I am not the first of my kind, but you will be the last of yours.” -Ollo
Kumungu legends speak of an ancient entity called the Mycelium- an all-knowing consciousness that once presided benevolently over the jungles, the fungi its eyes, ears, and so much more. With the loving guidance of the Mycelium, Kumungu prospered. The animals and native people flourished, and bioluminescent mushrooms riddled the undergrowth, beautifully illuminating the otherwise dark and vicious jungle nights. However, when the thorns rose in Kumungu, they claimed the jungles for their own, devouring the natives, the wildlife, and leaving millions of tattered fungi in their wake. The Mycelium and its emissaries were forced into hiding beneath the earth, where they would sleep until Kumungu was ready to return to its former glories.
Since then, the race of thorns have all but died out, having consumed the bounties of the jungle, leaving nothing but desolation in their wake. Sensing their disappearance, the great presence of the Mycelium has awakened from its ancient slumber, and with it its mercenaries. None can be entirely sure how the creature known as Ollo found his way to the Fields of Justice, whether it be by instinct, curiosity, or the hand of a greater power. However, one thing is certain in the eyes of Ollo: the abomination known as Zyra will be purged from existence, and Kumungu will finally be avenged.
TIPS Playing as Ollo:
- Using Everspore and Fairy Ring together is an incredibly offensive combo. Use it to both set up kills and finish off your enemies.
- Use your Innervate strategically: if you use it on an ally, it will disappear after a certain amount of healing has been done. If you use it on an enemy, it will disappear after it deals a certain amount of damage.
- Mycelium’s Glory amplifies an ally’s damage, makes them immune to crowd control and opens up opportunities for you to stun enemies with Everspore: choose your targets wisely!
Playing against Ollo:
- If you have the Everspore debuff, stay out of range of Ollo’s basic attacks until it runs out or you’ll be an easy target for his next stun.
- If Ollo casts Innervate on you, stand in a group of your minions so the spores do less damage to you, and go away faster.
- Mycelium’s Glory grants Ollo or one of his allies immunity to all forms of crowd control, but not immunity to damage! Focus them down as fast as you can.
Any feedback would be encouraged- I'm new to this sort of thing. Thanks!
