I made custom painted LOL shoes ;)

First off I never painted in my entire life. I free-hand drew, and painted everything you see. Maybe I'm still an artist I'll let you decide lol.

My wife bought our 13month old daughter "Lux" some shoes to paint and do crafts. (Her real name is Lux ...we named her after Lux in LOL) . Teemo was hard to draw, easier to paint.

Anyhow ...
My name is Cody , and I play as MANEGARD in LOL. I made these shoes. I hope you like them.
Here I am drawing them with pencil then going over it with dark permanent marker for the outlined artwork to then be painted over. I later decided to paint over the words "Star Wars" as many LOL fans from earlier didn't like it.

I didn't like the StarWar's on them so I painted over with space & stars. Originally ... I was going to paint a Master Yoda holding a light saber on one shoe and the words "Star Wars Jedi", and Master Yi on the other shoe holding a sword in one hand, and point at the Yoda on the other shoe saying "Awww he's cute"

Me and my wife have six children we made together and I being a nerd, named them lol I'd post their birth certs if I wasn't concerned about ID theft :).

Their names are as follows:

Son - Odin Mercury Oebel (After Final Fantasy 2 on SNES) Son - Mad Mardagin Oebel (From the movie Willow) Daughter - Oree Mercedes Oebel ( We took Oreo the cookie, and added another e for Oree) plus it sounded mythical ;) Son - Raiden Maximus Oebel ( People think Mortal combat, but nope... We named our son Raiden, also after Final Fantasy Espers) Daughter - Bayle Miracle Oebel (Not derived from any name.. she has probably the only normal name in the house lol). Daughter -Lux Murasame Oebel (First name came from League of Legends, her middle name is a sword in Final Fantasy,)

Yelling their names out loud in Wal-mart always yields head turns and smiles, or people ask "Is that their real names?" lolz.

I could paint away Star Wars.. i was debating as a StarWars fan, and LOL fan .. to do a master yoda with a light saber ... and a master Yi on the other shoe ...

I could paint the starwars black .. (erasing it) and paint stars over them .. not a problem ... it's just how the art-work formed.. a Starwars LOL fan based shoe painting.

............... In a Galaxy Far Far away ... champions meet and gather and fight in a tournament to win .. the League of Legends !

No regard for the kid's dignity. Guess i'll name my next kid Darth Nike Tryndamere Carls Jr because i like shoes and hamburgers.

Dignity ? Do you know how AWESOME it would be to have the name Lux or Odin or Raiden ? ... I guess you'd rather name your kids John, or James, or Mark .. .. the all so usual ?

I could also name my kid Adolf Trashbin if the only thought behind what I was going to name my heir was how "different" it was.

Hey folks I had so much fun creating these. Tomorrow me and my wife are going to buy some T-Shirts and Maybe a pair of pants, or shorts and I'm going to paint more league of legends characters onto them. Then take pictures .. I'm considering going into GameStop and various gamer-stores with the video cam recording to see if anyone says anything about the "Get-Up" being all LOL dedicated.
