League Replay Function

Dear Riot, Why has a replay function not yet been added to the League of Legends Client? This is a crucial part to making people better and allowing them to share their plays with friends and the community. I know LolReplay is what many use, but it doesn't work for me, and that is very inconvenient. I've been learning Azir lately and I finally made an amazing play, Shurima Shuffle, as most call it. I was so happy. But then I realized, I could not share this moment with any of my friends, therefore, the moment was ruined. Please add a replay function. The whole community would be grateful.

The technology just isn't there yet.

They created a replay system. It was on the PBE ~1 year ago. They said the servers wouldn't be able to handle it.

If we're ever going to see replays it won't be until long after the server relocation that is happening soon™

I would definitely like to see this as a native option, but in the meantime you guys should check this out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l_SLqNE8fOE

It basically can provide a replay experience similar to what ItsCurtains originally described. Runs on Overwolf which also has a bunch of other cool apps and addons.

Check the web my friend. You might be surprised what you can find.

In fact our good friend Riot has an unofficial program for recording games...and you can share them with the community! It's called LoLReplays, and I use it. It runs in the background of your League match, never disrupting FPS or your ping. After the match is over, you can go through and title it, share it, or just keep it for remembrance. The download isn't too big either. NO I am not advertising the program; you wanted a replay ability, and they have it for you.
