League of Legends dueling board game

One of my buddies has been making himself a dueling board game, and we were discussing it and refining it, but the basic chassis really reminds me of multiplayer online battle arenas (I know there's a dominion board game, but this would be suited for summoner's rift-style maps). As someone well-read in game design and educated in business, I figure that asking if licensing would be a realistic option wouldn't be a bad idea.

The game has aspects that remind me of minion waves, the nexus, champions, summoner spells, factions (Noxus/Demacia/The Shadow Isles/etc) , the kind of unstable equilibrium in it's resource generation that this has, so with some work I think it could encapsulate the reality of the state of Runeterra and the League of Legends, as long as one doesn't get too tied up in making the game too much like a MOBA and less like a dueling game.

Could I get someone from Riot to tell me if I'm barking up the right tree? It's a pretty solid idea, the main issue I can see with the game is marketing and that would be the point of making it a licensed game.

And let's add a poll for market research purposes. I hope this isn't against the forum rules...

It'd entirely depend on the quality of the game itself. I don't care what the hell something is licensed as, I care how it plays. Which is how many card/board games feel.
