[Champion Concept] Veritan, the Demacian Apostate
This is the second time I rework this Champion completely. Once he was a heat-based Champion from Piltover who then became a renegade, then he was a Zaun scientist who became accidentally super powers due to Viktor's experiments - and now the last try to make him work.
Lore:
The 'Demacian Lancers' are a special unit founded and trained by Veritan's father 'Estos Saintmourne', and Veritan was one of his first recruits. From his childhood on until he became mature, his early life was a whole training, paid with his blood and sweat.
Veritan's mother, 'Felicia Dawnfall', was an adept of the church in Demacia, which is a millenia-long religious group called 'The Sovereigns'. Felicia Dawnfall died when Veritan was five years old, unknown reasons behind - it is said that she was assassinated by a secret group.
Veritan likes to call himself a orphan, even though he never was - because of the feelings he ousted, when his mother died in a cruel way and left him, and his father, who only knew to treat Veritan like a soldier instead like a son.
Perhaps one of these reasons were enough, that Veritan left the Demacian military in order to fullfill the tradition of his mother's family and become a part of The Sovereigns in which his mother believed so much.
For many years ongoing, Veritan was still called a traitor amongst Demacians, except in the church, thus he felt more and more that it was the place where he belonged to - until one day Veritan's father was reported as missing when he led the Demacian army into a battle against Noxus.
After one month of disappearance, Estos Saintmourne was officially marked as dead - that is, if Veritan hasn't conducted his very own research and found out that Estos Saintmourne wasn't murdered, but rather taken away by a mysterious group covered in black clothes and black roses.
Veritan left the Sovereigns to become a renegade of his own religion he believed in. He joined the Institute of War to reveal the secrets behind the organisation who is behind his fathers abduction and his mothers assassination.
"A Weapon serves to save or to kill, it is part of Battle and War" - Veritan, the Apostate
Appearance:
Veritan is a young boy, about 22-23 years old. Though he left the Sovereigns, he still believes in the religion he was taught to - that means that he is of a noble stature and his head bowed.
His boots are somewhat magically infused, as he floats with them above the ground. Some may say that his belief in his religion gives him the power to fly, even though shortly - but with insane speed at all.
His weapon is a Knight Lance (http://static4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20130518080603/dynastywarriors/images/5/54/4th_Weapon_-_Nagamasa_%28WO%29.png)
Here's a picture of how Veritan should look like.

Role:
Veritan is a Fighter/Assassin who excels in tricking the enemy opponent into safety or false sense - only then to appear and finish off the target.
Stats:
Damage 50 (+3.4 per level)
Attackspeed 0.711 (3%)
Health 465 (+75 per level)
Movement Speed 340
Armor 32 (+1.8 per level)
Magic Resist 29 (+1.6 per level)
Health Regen 7 (+0.6 per level)

Abilities:
Veritan's resource is Energy
Passive "Silent Prayer":
Veritan's basic attacks increases Veritan's energy by 10/15/20 (level 1/6/12)
Every time when Veritan uses a ability, his movement speed is increased by 20%/30%/40% for 1/1.5/2 seconds
Q - (Locked automatic skillshot) "Furious Lance":
Veritan selects a point within 650 range. Veritan launches up to three magical knight lances that will hover above him for 1.5 seconds.
Wherever Veritan's position is, after those 1.5 seconds, the three magical knight lances will shoot in the direction of the location with each 0.3 second delay between the shots. Each Knight Lance deals 50/70/90/110/130(+45% Total AD) physical damage and goes through the first unit it hits.
If the Knight lances hits a second unit, the lances will shatter and lets the target enemy bleed for 5 seconds. Within those 5 seconds, the target loses 5% max HP and additionaly while the target bleeds, all basic attacks and abilities from Veritan will deal bonus magical damage equal to 25% of Veritan's Attack Damage. (While active, Veritan is able to use all other abilities)
*CD:* 12/11/10/9/8 Seconds after the ability is over
*Energy Cost*: 40 Energy
W - (Self - Modifier) "Jet Spin":
Veritan's Knight Lance rotates continuously and within the next 3.5 seconds, Veritan's next basic attack deals bonus physical damage equal to 85%/95%/105%/115%/125% of his Attack Damage.
If Veritan uses "Glorious Victory" and damages a target with "Jet Spin" within the next .5 seconds after teleportation, Veritan will be immediately teleported back to where he used "Glorious Victory" before.
CD: 14/12.5/10.5/8.5/6 Seconds after the ability is over
Energy Cost: 30 Energy
E - (Teleportation) "Glorious Victory":
Veritan immediately appears within 550 range on the located area and is invulnerable for 0.5 seconds after appearing. His invulnerability is shown as his appearance fades slighty away because of his insane speed. Additionaly, if "Furious Lance" damages within the 0.5 seconds invulnerability, they will stun the first target hit by for 1 seconds.
CD: 24/20/16/12/8 Seconds
Energy Cost: 30 Energy
R - (Ultimate - Disappearance - Multi-Target-Dash) "Unholy Heart":
After selecting an enemy target within 550 range, Veritan disappears and becomes untargetable, dashing as a lightning bolt to the locked target and dashes up to 4 other times to nearby enemy targets. Each enemy unit hit receives 120/240/360 (+75% AP)(+50% Bonus AD) physical damage and gets rooted for 1.5 seconds.
Enemy Champions that have been already focused by "Unholy Heart", can't be rooted a second time. In Addition, the dash prefers the enemy Champion with a %lower-health than Veritans. This means, he will not seek for other enemy Champions, but rather try to jump everytime on the Champion with the lowest Health.
*CD*: 120/100/80 Seconds
Energy Cost: None
Personal Opinion:
Obviously, Veritan is not perfect. He lacks in disengage and escape, once he used his gap closer to engage. His damage is mainly coming from his basic attacks and his Ultimate. Veritan needs to play carefully.
One way how to play Veritan:
1v1 in a lane = Veritan activates Q, one of the magical knight lances goes through a enemy minion and the second hit shatters on the enemy Champion - he receives a Damage Over Time that gradually increases incoming damage from Veritan - Veritan appears with his E directly behind the enemy Champion, and the second or third shot of the magical knight lances hits the target - plus W and probably Ultimate, and the damage is done. In combination with E plus W he can harass and get back easily, if he manages it.
5v5 in a teamfight = Veritan should start with Q to poke, and start damaging important targets, to then afterwards disappear with his Ultimate, to then focus the damage on the one with the lowest health.
Thanks for reading and I'm sorry if it was too much.
