[Champion Concept] Chizu - The Untainted
I recommend listening to a song theme fitting this.
##Lore
"My father once said 'Your Sword is like a Paintbrush' - I will paint my own world!" - Chizu
"Chizu is like a Cherry Blossom Tree, she is strong and she blossoms when her time arrives. Chizu's power originates from Ionia, the land of proudful warriors who train and live for the relentless pursue of true enlightment.
However, like a Cherry Blossom Tree blossoms so it is natural to wither.
As the only child, normally she had to continue the tradition of her family once her father dies. The technique that has been inherited since many past generations was the Saikenkku', also called 'Sword that never taints. It was a very old technique that is almost forgotten even amongst the wisest Runeterrans.
In her childhood, she was supposed to lead the school of her father once he passes away, so she learned the technique, though her father decided later on Chizu's behalf that she has to follow her heart and not to wither like a blossom in the shadow. Chizu worked for her dream and finally became a Geisha like her mother once was.
Her dream came true, but also her nightmare. Once she finished school and became a Geisha, news arrived that her father died in a duel against a Swordsman with Seven Swords. Once she came back to the Dojo, she buried her father and was never seen again as a Geisha.
Years passed by and while she tried to teach others in the technique of the 'Saikenkku', she failed at practicing for herself. A stranger, almost seemed to be a traveller - but with a sword in his hand - came from nowhere. It was Yasuo who came to see Chizu's tears falling in despair of her family's heritage.
While Yasuo sat down and rested, he saw how Chizu was practicing. For a while, he was remembered of his old days in his childhood when he learned his sword technique with his Brother. He stood up and asked Chizu if she would practice because she wants or because she must.
Chizu felt bothered by this question, though she immediately answered that she must and wants to justify the death of her father, even if it means to spend the rest of her life to not let the 'Saikenkku' technique get lost. Yasuo said "If you combine your passion with a blade, you'll cut like the Wind cuts a single cherry blossom".
With his last words, Yasuo left Chizu with a open ending to his teachings. Chizu then was reminded what her father once said - that a blade is not only a tool to murder, but rather a form of Art. Like a paintbrush on paper, the sword is elegantly led through the corpse with single strikes - Not the power, but the precision and will directs the paintings in the enemies blood.
The teachings she once learned in her childhood came back alive in her mind, as if the greatest mystery in her live was unlocked. She remembered every word her father said - what has been told over the generations of every Saikenkku Master.
'Your actions are never selfish; You seek for the unspeakable truth on the battlefield; Your technique means Art, thus define them as honorable'
As a Geisha who learned a forgotten and almost lost Art, she now seeks to revenge her father and clean the name of her family for all time."
###Appearance:
Chizu is a very kind and honorable person when it comes to peacefully interactions, but in a fight, she can be merciless. Like a cherry blossom in the wind, her enemies will feel the virtue of the painting sword. She doesn't show much skin, exceptions are in her optional skins.
Chizu - Wonderful dress, beautiful purple hair, a deceiving face. http://forums.na.leagueoflegends.com/board/attachment.php?attachmentid=904035&d=1393163837
(Possible Skins at the end)
###Champion Explanation
- Chizu follows her passion as a Geisha, but neither forces herself to stay back from her family tradition of the sword technique 'Saikenkku'. She combined her two dreams in one.
- Chizu, even as a Geisha, is extremely cunning and can deceive your eyes with her beauty.
- The 'Saikenkku' is a very mysterious and almost forgotten technique. It's origin isn't from this world, but rather is similiar to the Battojutsu (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fUH3IgZAO5M) which is mainly concentrating on hurting the opponent by drawing the blade rather than to use the blade already drawn.
- While the Saikenkku may have similiarities to the Battojutsu, it is still a very own technique in Runeterra. The blade will almost never be drawn out of the scabbard and power originates from the precision, not the strength.
- I know it's strange that I made a Geisha, especially with a Odachi (A Odachi is a extremely long Katana. One of the biggest Odachi was 377cm long, and only the blade length!), but I've read what Riot once said - that there are niches open that might have similiarities with already existing Champions, but still can offer unique personality, appearance and skills, to have more variety than similiarity.
- Chizu is a cross-class between Initiator, OffTank, Duelist and Assassin. She is meant to deal damage against her opponents, and more damage against those who focus her. Theoretically, she can be perfectly used in Jungle due to her passives giving her cooldown reduction for each basic attack she receives.
- Chizu is a friend of Yasuo, Takumi and Mitsume. They met once (Prologue) shortly after Chizu's father died.
- In the lore stays written that Chizu's father was killed in a duel by a swordsman with seven swords. This is a hint for another Samurai Champion that I plan. In Takumi's lore stays written that he originates from the Clan of the Seven Swords, so it might be a survivor.

##Abilities:
Chizu's resource is Health.
*SK = Skillshot
BA = Basic Attack
ATR = Attack Timer Reset
LO = Lock-On
MC = Mouse Cursor
AU = Aura
P = Passive
AoE = Area of Effect
DoT = Damage over Time
D = Dash
T = Teleport
M = Movement Speed *
| Ability | Name | Effect | Type | Range | Cost | Cooldown |- | Innate Passive | Saikenkku | Whenever Chizu is being attacked by a basic attack from any source, the cooldowns of all of her abilities are reduced by 1 seconds (Can't occur a second time within 3.5/2.5/1.5 seconds). In addition, whenever Chizu's cooldown timers are reduced by the Saikenkku, she receives bonus 25/35/45 movement speed (level 1/6/12) for 1 seconds.
| Ability | Name | Effect | Type | Range | Cost | Cooldown |- | Q | Blazing Momentum | Active: Chizu slashes with her scabbard forward and strikes out in a series of powerful blows that will deal 35/50/65/80/95(+25% Total AD) physical damage to all enemies within 225 range. This ability can be activated a second time within 4 seconds, and a third time within 4 seconds of that. The third activation has additional +225 range, damages enemies within 450 circle range while drawing the blade completely out of the scabbard and Chizu's attack range is being increased by an additional +225 for 3.5 seconds. All three strikes deal the same damage. | MC |225 + 450| 3% current Health each cast | 11.5 at all ranks
| Ability | Name | Effect | Type | Range | Cost | Cooldown |- | W | Relentless Retaliation | Upon activation: Chizu slightly draws her blade out of the scabbard and prepares for the next incoming enemy basic attack. If the basic attack is a melee attack or executed within 350/400/450/500/550 range near by, Chizu immediately blocks the basic attack and dashes through the enemy attacker. Similiar to Fizz or Yasuo's dash, Chizu will arrive behind the target wherever her position is from begin of the cast. However, it can only work if the enemy attacker is within range, otherwise nothing but cooldown will activate. |D |350 / 400 / 450 / 500 / 550 | 5% max health if successfull (50% cost refunded if not successfull) | 8 at all ranks|
| Ability | Name | Effect | Type | Range | Cost | Cooldown |- | E | Blunt Cut Technique | Chizu stabs with her next basic attack with her scabbard into the enemy target's vital organs. The enemy will get physical damage equal to 40/50/60/80/100 (+30% total AD) (+1/2/3/4% of missing health from Chizu) and will get a Curse for 2.5 seconds. If Chizu goes 1000 range away from the enemy target or the target runs 1000 range away from the point of puncturing, then the Curse will trigger. The target enemy's body explodes, he will receive magical damage equal to 80/90/110/130/150 (+100% AP) (plus 4% missing health from target enemy) and enemy units in the near the target are damaged by 20% that was dealt to the enemy target with scabbard damage and trigger damage. |BA + ATR + DoT + AoE| | 5% current Health | 15.5 / 14.5 / 13.5 / 12.5 / 11.5
| Ability | Name | Effect | Type | Range | Cost | Cooldown |- | Ultimate | Memorial Season | Chizu's memories of her childhood becomes reality. A storm of cherry blossoms appear around Chizu in a 500 range circle for 6 seconds. Every enemy Champion near Chizu gets marked by a Cherry Blossom each 1.5 second for the duration of the Storm. Each mark can be consumed by a basic attack by Chizu or an ally Champion. Each Mark deals bonus 5%/10%/15% of the target's current health (min 75/110/145) as magic damage and heals Chizu for about 3%/4%/5% of her missing health. |AoE|500| 10% current Health | 110 / 90 / 70

###Champion Explanation & Personal Opinion
Chizu excels enemy tanks by melting them with her huge powers. Chizu can also strike down squishier targets, but with high risk. Due to her assassin-like kit, she's very vulnerable in early to mid game. When she missuses her W dash, she'll be in big problems.
However, the best way to play her is to be passive or if aggressively, then use Q to stack and receive the bonus attack range. Once its done, her E can be cast from far and the poke on the enemy can begin. Run away or force the enemy to retreat, the E curse will deal good damage in combination.
Chizu's Ultimate is a life-savior for herself and in teamfights, as she can initiate and mark her enemy targets to receive bonus damage. Bad thing: If you initiate with your Ultimate, you'll lose heavy amounts of your health points and you might end as well being dead by getting outnumbered before the real fight is getting started.
I recommend a good balance between HP and AD, perhaps some AS and CDR for longer poke-strategy or for better sustain build-up.
Other than that, Chizu is great against squishy targets who are weak in early like Riven, Lee Sin, Renekton, but can be outplayed if played poorly in mid to late game. Strong tanks who are basically build up on HP rather than Armor/Magic Resistance. Chizu is very vulnerable and weak to CC Champions like Le Blanc, Renekton(late-game), Lissandra, ecetera; Mostly because Chizu is based on close-combat and she got only one ability to dash and its requirement is to time well the next incoming basic attack - Chizu can be easily kite down.
###Animations
Chizu almost never draws her blade, only if her Ultimate is active - She draws it to cut the blossoms that are marking the enemy targets.
Other than that, she uses her scabbard or the hilt to deal damage, or sometimes draws the sword a little bit and cuts the enemy with the blade that is revealed. (Like in her "Relentless Retaliation" ability)
Chizu walks charmantly and her moves are elegantly.
Chizu holds the middle of the Odachi in her left hand.
On first attack, Chizu stabs the scabbard with the hilt into the target with only her left hand.
On second attack, Chizu now uses both her right and left hands, holding the scabbard and the hilt, and then swings clockwise in a half-circle.
On third attack, Chizu slowly opens with her right hand on the hilt the blade, and then thrusts the sword back in while cutting the enemy within the move.
On critical strike, Chizu immediately holds the Odachi like it is drawn, but it's still in the scabbard. And then strikes from above downwards to the enemy.
