*Champion Concept* Korin, Assassin Extraordinaire

This is an idea I had a while back for an AD assassin who would be fun to play due to his mechanics. His skill set is based around the idea of stacking on hits from his various abilities then bursting enemies down using his Ults effect. Although he has two escapes, a good team composition will effectively negate them (Especially his E).

Korin, Assassin Extraordinaire Base Stats HP: 560 +80/lvl (+6HP5 +1HP5/lvl) (1920HP and 23HP5 at lvl18) Resource: Energy: 200/200 (+10/s) MS: 450 AS: .655 +3%/lvl (.989 at l lvl18) AD: 60 +4/lvl (128AD at lvl18) AP: 0 Armor: 15 +2/lvl (49 Armor at lvl18) M. Resist: 30 +1.25/lvl (51.25 at lvl18) Range: 125 (Melee)

Passive: Truesight: Cannot have vision reduced (e.g. Graves’ W doesnt reduce vision range). While Blinded, basic attacks do not apply On-Hit Effects Can see stealthed enemy units and enemy units in bushes within a 60˚ cone with a 1000 Range radius in front of him enemies revealed this way appear only as red orbs that are targetable by Korin and visible to allies.

The idea behind this passive is simple: He is an assassin meant to sneak up on a target and kill them, thus he
should know how to spot someone based upon their traces. Compare to Rek'sai whilst he is burrowed.

Q: Returning Blade: PASSIVE: Korin’s stores of knives are sometimes bent. Acquires 1 Bent Knife every 20 seconds (Applies CDR). Basic Attacks have a 5 / 7.5/ 10 / 12.5 / 15% (+1%/50 AD, +1%/50 Armor of Target) of producing a Bent Knife. This can occur once every 10 / 9 / 8 / 7 / 6 seconds. Limit 3 / 3 / 4 / 4 / 5.
ACTIVE: (8 / 7 / 6 / 5 / 4 second CD) (1 Bent Knife, 50 energy) Throws a spinning blade in a 400 Range radius circle with effective width of 150 Range tangent to Korin that persists for 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 / 7 seconds (about 3 revolutions in 2 seconds). Deals 30 / 45 / 60 / 75 / 90 (+.4 / .45 / .5 / .55 / .6 AD) Physical damage on hit (can hit multiple times). Korin can catch a blade by right-clicking on the center of its path (Similar to Thresh’s W or Kallista’s Black Spear) after it completes 1 or more revolutions, refunding 30 Energy, 1 Bent Knife, and reducing current CD of Returning Blade by up to 3 seconds.

This ability was designed to challenge players by making it necessary to understand how the ability moves in
order to use and counter it. It is most comparable to Veigar's W and Heimerdinger's Q as a zoning ability.

W: Tracing: PASSIVE: Dealing damage to an enemy champion causes them to bleed, dealing 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 physical damage every second for 30 seconds. Bleeding enemies leave a visible blood trail that fades over 60 seconds. Teleporting results in a gap in the trail while jumping does not. Bleeding champions don’t have backing or other abilities that are interrupted by damage interrupted. Korin gains 10% MS while on a blood trail.
ACTIVE: (20 / 19 / 18 / 17 / 16 second CD) (80 Energy) Korin dashes 150 / 200 / 250 / 300 / 350 Range in target direction, then gains 50% MS which decays over 2 seconds to 10% then persists for 5 seconds. Also the next basic attack on an enemy within 6 seconds deals 20 / 30 / 40 / 50 / 60 additional physical damage. If the target is bleeding, deals 30 / 40 / 50 / 60 / 70 (+.8 AD) additional physical damage and applies [Grievous Wounds] instead.

The passive of this ability is intended to make escaping from Korin much more difficult as he is able to see
where his target went. However, understanding how this ability works, it is important to realize that a bleeding
enemy will cause towers to aggro Korin and can be used as bait for chases. Thus, countering the passive
simply requires thinking ahead. The active is intended as an escape mechanism but understanding that its
range is very short is important in using it

E: Preparation: PASSIVE: 5 / 4.5 / 4 / 3.5 / 3 seconds (Applies CDR) after attacking or using an ability, Korin gains a stack of [Prepared]. Limit 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 stacks. When pursuing an enemy champion or jungle mob within 400 Range for a basic attack, Korin consumes 1 stack of [Prepared], if any, and jumps onto the target dealing 10 / 20 / 30 / 40 / 50 (+.1 / .1 / .15 / .15 / .2 AD) additional physical damage. Attacks performed by consuming a stack of [Prepared] don’t generate new stacks ACTIVE: (60 / 50 / 42 / 36 / 32 second CD) (60 Energy) After a 3 / 2.5 / 2 / 1.5 / 1 second delay, Korin becomes stealthed until he next uses Returning Blade, performs a basic attack, or uses a summoner ability. Korin becomes unstealthed if he travels 1000 or more Range from the cast point. Korin becomes revealed but is treated as stealthed (Thus enemies cannot target Basic Attacks on him) if hit or damaged by an enemy ability.

The passive of Preparation is comparable to Rengar's passive or his Ult. The active is intended to function
similarly to Akali's W by creating a zone of stealth. It should be noted however, that skillshots can strictly
      counter this ability.

R: Assassinate: (100 / 90 / 80 second CD) Korin’s next basic attack against an enemy champion, whose current health is at 30 / 35 / 40% or less of that champion’s max HP, deals 25% of his targets missing HP (+1 AD) additional damage. The damage of this basic attack becomes true damage if the target is bleeding and Korin was stealthed. If a champion is killed this way, reduce the current CD of Returning Blade, Tracing, and Preparation to 4 / 2.5 / 1.5 seconds, if higher, and reduce the current CD of Assassinate by 90% (to ~8 seconds at 0 CDR, ~5.6 seconds at 40% CDR). (This will one shot just about anyone at about 30% health if it deals true damage)

At first sight, this Ult sounds Overpowered. A true damage execute? WTF? Rito PLS. The point that must be
made however is that this Ult is no more powerful than Darius's Ult. Another point is that this Ult is a Basic
attack On-hit meaning that Korin must be able to perform this attack to make it work. Lastly, it is important to
understand the true list of prereqs to make this Ult both function and deal true damage.
     That list is as follows:

The target must be at 40% of its max health Korin must be in melee range (This is assisted by Preparation) Korin must perform a Basic attack (Meaning that if you fail to click on your opponent, the Ult is useless) Korin must not be under CC that prevents Assassinate from being activated or prevents Basic attacks (e.g. Stuns of any type, Silences, and Blinds) Korin must be stealthed Korin must have dealt damage to the target BEFORE using his Ult

With 6 prereqs, this Ult should be nothing more than useful.

Quotes: On cast of Returning Blade: “Wonder what this’ll do.” “Someone bent my knife!” “Fetch!”

Upon catching a Returning Blade “It’s all coming back to me.” “It came back?” “Recycling is good for the environment.”

Upon receiving Tracing passive MS boost: “This looks like blood…” “Where to? Where to?”

On cast of Tracing: “Closer…” “Where’d you go?”

On receiving Preparation stack: “I am prepared.” “Ready or not!”

Upon consuming a stack of Preparation: “Surprise!” “Where’re you going?” “Knife!”

Upon casting Preparation: “You didn’t see anything...” “Don’t worry, I’ll wait” “Now you see me…” “Out of sight, out of mind.”

Upon casting Assassinate: “Your time has come…” “Vengeance…” “Soon…”

Upon kill or assist: “Another one bites the dust.”

Walking: “The time is nigh.” “Seek and destroy” “I journey for revenge”

Joke: “I used to disguise myself... Never again.” “Sometimes a knife, strongly applied to the jugular is sufficient.” “I spy with my glowing eyes…” “I am after all extraordinary.”

Taunt: “Now would you look at that, a new target” “Maybe the tension will block my knife.”

Dancing Animation: one person tango while juggling 4 knifes, each occasionally used like butterfly knives... because SOMETIMES you have too much time on your hands.

Death: “Oh dear...” “You’ve discovered my weakness: dying.” “Woa--!”

Lore: Korin was the son of the famed Ionian blacksmith Zato Vin. Vin was a secretive smith, living secluded from society in Ionia. One day however, Vin was found by a noxian general and tasked to create a sword worthy of gods. Vin accepted this request and proceeded to begin the task of finding the metal for the job. Vin’s search took the better part of a decade by which point he enlisted the aid of his son, Korin to craft the blade. Vin and Korin labored for years, working the metal, praying for the quality of the sword, and refining the metal until it was perfect. Their sweat and blood went into the blade over the years. Finally, the pair succeeded in crafting the sword and honing it to a perfect edge. The sword was a work of art, fit for any great leader and the two had spent fifteen years to make its every aspect perfect.
The general returned to retrieve his sword. Vin requested his payment for the blade but the general refused to do so unless the sword was anointed in the blood of Vin’s son. Vin denied the general his wish and held onto the blade, but the noxian wouldn’t be denied. He struck down Vin while Korin watched and then left. After burying his father, Korin pledged revenge on the general and spent the next decade tracking him down. Korin became a hardened assassin during this time with skills rivalling legend. Striking down his foe, Korin retrieved the sword, now marred with misuse and mistreatment. Now without a foe, Korin had nothing left to do with his life and so spent his time pondering while he restored the sword to its former glory. In his melancholy, Korin remained alone until Ionia was invaded by Noxus. His home encroached upon, Korin took up the blade that he and his father had labored so long to create and joined the battle. He alone survived the battle unscathed and he thus pledged himself with the task of excizing Noxus from Ionia.

"To allies I am the savior; to enemies I am death." -Zato Korin

You should definitely Kill yourself change the dance, perhaps have him juggle knives or do a butterfly knife trick
