If you have a champ you would like to see in clay form let me know! I love taking requests and I usually post tons of pics to my instagram :D I'm a tad behind on requests at the moment because I've been playing too much LoL and not working with clay as much haha but I should crank out some tomorrow.

As someone who also loves working with clay, this is awesome! My only point of feedback for you would be to improve the style of the face a bit to make it match the body. The body is **really **good - I love the detailing! Making human characters is really hard for me. I have to turn them to a more chibi style to make them look good.

If you want to see some of what I've made here are some links. :D

It was actually a piece of fan art that was in the style of stained glass, which was then really simple to transition to what I needed. This is the artist: http://brex5.deviantart.com/

I plan on making the Diana as well, but the first one was really hard and I'm lazy. :P

Ahh, so you just went ahead and took the extra step? That was a great catch. If you've done one, then the second one should be slightly easier, no? Experience and such. Also, if you have matching ones then you could hang them up together somewhere pretty! Making stained glass type pieces seems like a lot of fun. I used to do those little kits where you paint over the plastic with translucent paint, but it was hard to make the paint even...

I made all this stuff for people specifically, so I technically don't have any of the pieces anymore. :P

Glad you like it though!

Thanks for the feedback! After alot of trials I've finally settled into a face style I think I prefer though, I'm glad yours works for you!

This is adorable! I made one of my Dragon Age characters with clay when I was taking a ceramics course, and I fell in love with it. Seeing this gave me a little inspiration... I think I need to go get some sculpey

SKrivva1 votes

Buy Fimo ;D And get it with a good coupon from joanns or michaels lol

RiotHollymonster1 votes

I have fairly cold hands so Sculpey or Premo work the best for me because I don't need to warm it up as much. Fimo is much more firm and hurts me to get it soft enough to do anything with haha.

SKrivva2 votes

oh fimo definetly hurts my hands too :( labor of love? haha

Maratsune2 votes

I usually only get Fimo when I need a lot of one colour, because yeah, as Hollymonster said, it's really tough to use xD It's been a long time since I've been to a Michaels because the one I go to seems to stock more scrapbooking stuff than anything. I've been meaning to buy a new sketchbook anyway, so I'll definitely have to make a trip!
