People Trying to Feed Already at Champ Select

Hi guys, thanks for clicking in, just want to share a bit of my thought on the queueing part of League.

Just earlier today, I joined 2 queues that are very much similar in that I prefer not to play it before it even started. I know we all have those moments. The first one, our fourth pick did not get the mid position that he desired so he picked bard and said he was going to feed. I immediately left the queue trying to lose a bit of LP over 20 LP (and wasting 20 minutes of my time). I then proceed to join another one after my 5 minute ban to try to brighten things up a bit but only to be stuck in the same situation. My third pick asked me to ban Nid but after consulting everyone, we decided to ban j4 bard and vayne... The third pick then picks yasou top against a riven and starts copying everything i said like a 10 year old... I knew already that this was going to be bad so I bailed again and now I'm stuck in a 30 minute ban...

I was just thinking that maybe for ranked queue, if players leave during champion select, perhaps we could have a voting system that lets you vote on the cause of the players leaving queue (providing 4 summoners and the option of no one did). Since ranked queue can only be joined with 2, we can maybe make it that if 4 players vote that its 1 players fault, he will get punished instead...

Just a thought on how to make the community better, thats all...

P.S. one of the guy's name is Trav65... he will threaten to feed and imitate anything that you say... annoying little kid watch out for him out there.

You'd have to make it 3 because of duo trolls queuing together. Duos always seem to be extra toxic. I almost want to dodge as soon as I realize 2 team mates know eachother even if they haven't done anything wrong yet.

Regarding these kinds of players, I find starting the lobby with something like "good evening, how's everyone's games going?" sort of thing to get team morale up and to begin the communication. Then if someone starts to complain about their previous game, just agree with them (even if you don't, you only need to get through this game with them):

them: "ermagerd last game was so stupid, I was losing lane and my jungler never ganked, derpityderpderp" you: "Wow, I totally agree, that jungler sounds like a dumbass, blahblahblah"

Regarding your idea, I can see something comparable to a pre-game surrender vote to veto the current lobby, where if enough people vote to, queue would be dodged. The only problems I can see to this is that if someone ever tries to veto, then you already know they aren't going to put 100% into the game if the veto fails.

Furthermore, unless it's something like "veto only available within the first 2 rounds of picks", if their comp looks considerably better than yours, you could try to veto unfavourable match-ups.

Keep in mind all of these issues would be unnecessary when "select your desired roles" is an option when queueing for ranked :P
