Game Idea: Pet Followers

I am not sure if you have already come across this idea before. Pet Followers is an idea I have thought of (I believe so at least) which works a bit like the new devourer, with the purple thing that follows you. However this would be much more general with pets from all across Valoran, like Shurima and The Shadow Isles. The Pet Followers would work like skins, being purchased with Riot Points, possibly with scaling costs depending on the added features of that specific Pet Follower. I would also like to add, the Pet Followers would be minature to the size of champions, scaling down to about a 5th or less. An example of a Pet Follower would be a Shadow Isles: Skeleton that would follow you around everywhere, doing little actions like point etc. Also they could have death animations for when you die or, various responses to other champions or units. what do you think of this? Do you think it is viable or would be seen as SELLOUT?
