I am thinking about making league of legends based chess games based on opposites: Demacia and Noxus, Piltover and Zaun. Thoughts? Ideas for Pieces? Opposites I missed? I really want to make this, but I want to make it well. Any Feedback would be helpful. Ideas of pieces for DvN: King, King, Queen, Queen, Kingside Rook, Kingside Rook, Queenside Rook, Queenside Rook, Kingside Bishop, Kingside Bishop, Queenside Bishop, Queenside Bishop, Kingside Knight, Kingside Knight, Queenside Knight, and Queenside Knight. Pawns would be their respective city's symbols. Ideas of pieces for PvZ: none. HELP!

Zed Gangplank King Akali MissFortune Queen Kennen Swain Bishop Rammus Katarina Knight Shen Fiddlesticks Rook Zed shadows for Ninja Pawns, and Buccaneer Tristana's for the Pirates. Bilgewater Kat & Swain and Fiddle me Timbers to make them fit into the pirates :3

Based off http://leaguefactions.net/factions-of-runeterra/ and some attempts at being thematic. Piltover and Zaun have too few champions to make really good rosters.

Surely the pawns could be blue and purple minions? Then you can buy the board and one set of champion pieces first, and then just different champion sets depending on what you want.

You could also use the battlecast skins for the Void monsters, Urgot, and possibly Skarner since the skin is in the works for the Machine side, and substitute Skarner with Volibear on the Beast side.
