Jinx leather armguard

My friend Jelle (ImJellyUJelly) is a huge fan AND a pretty damn good archer IRL, so I wanted to make him the most epic armguard ever. Including the words AD CARRY! It took me some time before I came up with the perfect sketch that would fit the shape of the armguard, but from there it has been a fun ride. Especially since this dude wanted double colored stitching! I like his style ;)

Up to this point I had not tried painting illustrations on leather, but thanks to Jelle I even have something I dare to put up here as fanart. What do you guys think? Did I do her justice?
