@Riot @League Community/ Can i still bind attack move click onto the left click of my mouse?

So i was watching an old Cinderhelm video on the basics of shutter stepping, and wondered if it was still possible to bind it. If so, can i reverse the changes back in case i need to, because of a comment on the reddit forum that the link sent me to saying that i must "make a backup of your input.ini file before you make any changes". I just wanted some info on how to make a backup for that file because i want to improve as an ADC.

It's possible in two ways:

  1. If you do the change to the ini file. This works, but I don't like the solution because it's a pain to unbind if you ever play someone who you'll want to left click with.
  2. If you have software for your mouse (ex: logitech setpoint software), you can make your mouse's left click do something other than left click (ie, middle click). Then in game, you can bind middle click to attack move. simple enough to remove that keybinding if you desire.

Hey TOY W4RRIOR, there is an easier way to accomplish the same thing without changing files.

Personally I changed my "A" from Targeted Attack Move, to just Attack Move Click. The difference between the two is that the previous setting brings up a crosshair to click on a target.

The new setting will automatically walk and attack the target closest to the mouse, if there is no target close to the mouse, it will attack the first target in range of your auto attack.

So for example when I ADC, I walk around pressing the A button instead of clicking because it will attack no matter what. It a better than default right clicking because you dont have to click on the person and accidentally hit the ground.

In addition to that I removed my "S" binding so that I could use my originally Target Attack Move binding on minions.

For kiting forward or back I press A then i right click in the direction I want to walk (forward or back) then quickly press A again. Most people dont realize that is make a huge difference in being a good or bad adc. The closer you stay to a dying target the higher chance you prevent to from flash away.

TL;DR Change "A" Key to Attack-Move-Click A+Right click to Kite

PS: Learn to do this with melee to lead your target while you melee them. Especially MasterYi Tryndamere Gangplank
