I know League and dota players argue which game is better, why not make that happen by making a game or server were league and dota players can vs. each other using league champions or dota heros. We would have to get both creators to be in on it but it would make a awesome game/battle.
That's an interesting idea, but the two games are different enough in some important ways that it would be hard to match up their champs. Some of the hypercarries in Dota would be absolutely unstoppable in League (particularly if using Dota items, like BKB), while the power of APCs in League would be very difficult to deal with for Dota champions (who do not have as much access to MR and also do not have AP ratios).
Also, I like to think of comparing Dota and League in the way that you might with Soccer and Football. There are more rules in Dota/football (like denying CS, character turn speed), but that doesn't mean it's a better game than League/Soccer (which is more oriented towards direct player interactions).
Some players came to LoL, play a lvl 1 game, reked noobs, "huh this game is easy for noobs blah blah".
Then he went to Dota, when it was still the original mod or when it hasn't implemented a proper matchmaking balance, got rekt, "this game so hard cool better than that trash lol pos".
But really though, both games play out similarly because they are in THE SAME GENRE. Idk why some people just have to complain that LoL is similar to Dota, let's just forget that there are like 10 trillion FPS, RTS, RPGs, MMOs, Hex Grid RTSs, Shoot'em Ups, Beat'em Ups etc you get the idea.
The "rivalry" is a joke, you laugh at jokes, that's what you do.
This would be cool if the c reaters could keep it strictly for fun and not competitive somehow. Once you bring competition into it (which players would want) I feel it would be an absolute mess with balancing
This can very well happen when the Dota 2 custom maps come out in the near future. :)
