Praesidium, the non-sentient
So I have been looking around the community creations and some are pretty cool ideas. I though why not give it a shot, I have an idea about robotic type champion, one that doesn't speak but rather makes sounds. Its name is Praesidium, which is the Latin way of spelling it and it means protector/guard/defense. This robot unlike blitzcrank is incapable of feeling emotions. I kinda got this idea from playing starcraft after seeing the A.R.E.S. defense drone, but since I can't draw very well I can't show you what I want him to look like, so i have to tell you. He would have a shoulder mounted cannon on his right shoulder, an eight barreled Gatling-gun on his left shoulder, two smaller mini-guns with 3 barrels where his arms would be, a concealed artillery gun in his back, treads where his legs would be (similar to a tank), and a singular camera like eye. The background will be at the bottom so give me some feed back I guess, even though Riot will probably never take this idea. Tell me if i missed anything.
Praesidium: the non-sentient
Base HP: 540 (+90/lvl) 2070 @ lvl18
Base HP regen per 5: 8 (+.8/lvl) 21.6 @ lvl 18
Base mana: 190 (+25/lvl) 615 @ lvl 18
Base mana regen per 5: 7 (+.3/lvl) 12.1 @ lvl 18
Base AD: 54 (+3/lvl) 105 @ lvl 18
Base attack speed: 0.60 (+3%/lvl) 0.906 @ lvl 18
Base attack range: 400
Base move speed: 325
Base armor: 40.5 (+1.5/lvl) 66 @ lvl 18
Base magic resist: 12 (+3/lvl) 63 @ lvl 18
Passive: Heart of Steel/Wings of Steel: While in ground mode Heart of Steel reduces all CC effects by 10%. While in flight mode there is no unit collision and enemies will take 15 (+3 damage per lvl, +10% of AP) magic damage per second if flown over.
Q: Airborne Assault/Ground Assault (automatically selected at start of game, does not cost a skill point):
mana cost: 20/25/30/35/40
Switch CD: 4 for all lvls
(take 1 sec to activate) While in Airborne Assault Praesidium gains 150 range, uses rockets to attack, and is granted a 50 dmg shield (+20/lvl, +30% magic resist). (take .75 sec to activate) While in Ground Assault, Praesidium reduces his movement speed by 20, uses his frontal mini-guns to attack, and gains 10 armor (+8/lvl, +20% of AD).
W: Hail Fire: Support Fire
mana cost of Hail Fire (airborne): 50/60/65/70/80 mana cost of Support Fire (ground): 25/30/35/40/45
Hail Fire CD: 6/4.5/3.5/2.5/togglable (does not count towards Heat Exhaust and will take more mana the longer its on)
While in Airborne Assault Praesisium uses his shoulder mounted Gatling-gun (skill shot with range of 600) to fire in a strait line at a targeted area for 2 seconds (2/2/2.5/2.5/3) dealing a TOTAL of 90/110/135/160/210 magic damage (+57% AP). While in Ground Assault Praesidium uses his shoulder mounted cannon that can hold 3 shots, each on a 9/8/6.5/5.5/4 second CD and a 1.5/1.5/1/1/.5 second CD between each shot. One shot will deal 60/85/100/130/155 magic damage (+45% AD) with a range of 850.
E: Heat Exhaust:
mana cost: 0/0/0/0/0
Heat Exhaust CD: 0/0/0/0/0
Jump CD: 12/11/10/8/7
In either form Praesidium can release a blast of heat from underneath him (range 250), after casting multiple spells. The more spells he casts before opening his exhaust chambers the more damage it will do. While casting Heat Exhaust he can jump to an area 450 units away. However if Praesidium doesn't cast Heat Exhaust within 8 seconds the spell counter will slowly go down. The more spells he charges the less time he will have to cast Heat Exhaust before the spell counter begins to go down (at the very least it will be 3 seconds). 0 spells cast = 100 dmg physical dmg (+45% of AD) 1 spell cast = 120 dmg physical dmg (+45% of AD) 2 spells cast = 130 dmg physical dmg (+45% of AD) 3 spells cast = 150 dmg physical dmg (+45% of AD) 4 spells cast =175 dmg physical dmg (+40% of AD) 5 spells cast = 200 dmg physical dmg (+40% of AD) 6 spells cast = 250 dmg physical dmg (+35% of AD) 7 spells cast = 300 dmg physical dmg (+30% of AD) 8 (max) = 375 dmg physical dmg (+25% of AD)
R: Gravity Cannon: Ballistic Salvo
mana cost: 100/125/150
CD: 110/90/85
While in Ground Assault Praesidium uses the concealed artillery gun in his back to fire a global shell. On impact it will explode into a sphere with a diameter of 400 units. All enemies in side the sphere will take 150/200/250 magic dmg(+60% of AD) per second lasting 2.5 seconds and will be slowed 10/15/20%. While in Airborne Assault Praesidium fires a global salvo of hyper velocity ballistic rockets at a targeted area dealing 175/200/225 physical dmg(+70% of AP). ----( The global salvo will fire 10 rockets all in area similar to Gangplank's ult)---
Concept Play style: If Praesidium were to be an actual champion, the play style I have in mind for him would call for him to be a top laner. He could be played as a tank or hybrid-tank-bruiser. Playing him bot or mid, i suppose could be a possibility because his scaling's. However I would not recommend building full AP seeing as his AP scaling's are weaker than his AD. Early game AP would be great for high dmg output early game however I think it would sacrifice a lot of range from his Support Fire and if you'er good at landing skill shots then it might even sacrifice more dmg. Another thing to look out for would be: In late game in my opinion his AP scaling's fall off until you get his ult, however there will be a delay on the landing of the rockets. His E would also be a great source of dmg if you would be willing to get up close and personal, but remember that leveling his E wont allow you to do more dmg it will only lower the CD for his jump. It would also be ideal to keep his heat charges at decently high number so that the counter wont go down very quickly but you can activate it to do a high amount of dmg if needed. His ult would be used like any other global ult you just need to have a lot of map awareness. While in team fights he should stay behind the initial tank to support him with ranged fire while not being to far back to be a useless tank. While giving ranged support fire and still tanking skill shots he can also be used a split pusher. He has a global ult which allows him to give support from anywhere and if built AD he can pack a punch to towers while still having a get away. There are a few problems with him though, his early game would be kinda weak because of his lack of base mana and he has little chase potential because he has no cc except for his ult which is only a 20% slow at max but a large AOE. Early game you have to be very careful on how you spend your mana with poke and shifting forms(remember Praesidium unlike all the other shifting champs uses mana to change forms). Another unique feature is that Praesidium is ranged in both forms but his ground assault has a very short range(same as gnar's aa range), and when in Airborne Assault it acts much the same as Jinx's Q where it increases his range, but instead of Jinx's 120 its 150.
Background:
Discovered by Ezreal's uncle Lyte this robot seemed to puzzle everyone that saw it. No one knows how it came about, where it was created, how it was created, or who built it. Lyte attempted to learn more about the robot, but after he realized it was more difficult than he had thought, he sent it to the city of Piltover figuring that they could be more successful than himself. Even with all the technology and all the geniuses that Piltover possessed, they could not figure out how to activate it. They spent years trying to provide power to robot but no power source seemed to work. After decades went by, a scientist by the name of Vicktor arose. He hadn't heard of the robot...yet. But after he had reconfigured his whole body he discovered that Piltover was harboring this piece of technology which he wanted so much. He threatened to attack Piltover with all his creation unless they handed over the robot. Piltover wanted to avoid war if possible and since they figured that if they couldn't figure out the mystery to this heap of metal, neither could Vicktor. They did not think that Vicktor could possibly activate it. But what Piltover didn't know was that Lyte had already activated the robot using its power core, the Sanctity Tri-gram Core. When he gave Piltover the robot, he kept the power core knowing that even Piltover could not replicate something so intricate. Lyte believed that even science should have its limitation, and he feared that if word of the robot got to the wrong people there would be a massive war. Not long after Vickor obtained the robot he came to Lyte demanding the core. Vicktor was no fool and he knew that Lyte would do something like this. When Lyte refused to hand it over, he decided to make a deal with him, rather than kill Lyte and starting a war with Piltover when Ezreal found out. The deal was that Vicktor would work in secrecy and would not tell anyone of the robot until he finished his research, if he did, then Lyte could call for Piltover's help in taking the robot back. Lyte didn't trust Vicktor, but fearing for his life he gave the power core to him. Years later Vicktor had learned of the robots purpose. The robot was the first of its kind and said,"Model number CPT-01, concept prototype one." Vicktor began asking many questions about its origins, weaponry, and anything he could think of.
"Project name, Praesidium Origins, unknown Purpose, to defend against the arising Void threat Weaponry, 140mm projectile cannon, 25mm rapid fire Gatling-gun, salvo rockets, 10 mm high powered mini-guns, 200mm gravity cannon, Date of creation . . . unknown"
Soon all of Vicktor's questions were answered. He arose from hiding and told of his success. When Lyte asked for Vicktor to give back Praesidium, Vicktor told him he had made no promises that he would give it back when finished and with that he summoned Praesidium to his side and declared war on Piltover for he felt that with this mechanical demon he was surely unstoppable. Why? you might ask, well because...why not?
