Hello League Community!
Just wanted to take the time to share my Ekko I did for Anime North in Toronto! I didn't have much time to work on it but I did the best I could lol! I will be adding to it and stuff later on to make it more complete but for now here it is! Hope you like it!

I'll edit the post and add a picture of it :D! I bought a cheap juice dispenser for the plastic part and surrounded it with foam and basically built it from there :)!

I've looked into belts and handbag attachments but nothing seems to look as authentic. If you got it online could you post the link to where you purchased it?? TIA <3

HI! Thanks so much Tia! I'm so sorry for the late reply! I hardly check this lol and thought people stopped looking at it XD! For the leather strap I actually used a strap from a bag my girlfriend gave me (with her permission of course) LOL! I'll post a picture for you of a close up. The strap was meant to be comfortable to wear around all day so I didn't make it as thick as its suppose to be. I just kinda made it wearable and comfortable so it's literally just the strap. However, if you want to make it look more like his, you can add some foam to it to make it thicker :).
In addition I drilled some holes and screwed the strap into the plastic part to keep it in place. Since you're going to be walking around a lot you don't want it to fall off right :)!

Hey! No worries lol! I basically used this guys method on youtube as a reference. But instead of using paper I used foam that you can get at like Wal-Mart or any dollar store :). The circle parts are literally tape roles covered in foam to disguise it lol. I'll try posting some more pictures in the comments below since its acting very strange...or I'm just stupid lol!

This is the sword with the layers of foam on top of it. You'll have to cut it into squares to help make the gluing easier. Its hard to picture but when you follow the video you'll see him cut paper into squares to make it easier to handle. But instead of paper we're using foam :).

This is what the handle should look like with the tape rolls and the foam on top to create the texture and "metal" thing on the hilt of the blade.
