Delothor, The Great Mason

Lore:

When Delothor was a child, he watched as his father designed and created the walls that protect the city of Demacia today. As a teenager, Delothor protected the gates of Demacia from the relentless assaults from Noxus. Though still a novice, he was learning to be a great mason just like his father was. Using the hammer that was passed down from generation to generation, he worked where ever he could to repair damage to the city walls and buildings throughout the kingdom, and defended Demacia by throwing tar and explosive contraptions, created by alchemists, out of murder holes that his father designed above gates. And though his father is retired, living in luxury for his years of service, Delothor vowed to never let any invaders to destroy and pillage the country that he grew up in by becoming the Greatest mason to walk this planet.

Years have passed since he mastered the art of masonry. Delothor, after designing and creating the crystals used in towers, Along with the towers, on the fields of Demacia, was hired by the league to create similar towers for their own battlefield. Impressed by his work, Delothor was given the opportunity to become part of the league. Delothor agreed to join to see that his creations are never used for Evil. Now he fights for the league, continuing his legacy as the greatest mason that ever lived.

Base stats:

Health: 480 (+75 per level @18 = 1830) Mana: 280 (+46 per level @18 = 1108) Attack Damage: 61 (+2.1 per level @18 = 98.8) Attack Speed: 0.7 (+1.7% per level) Armor: 27 (+1.5 per level @ 18 = 54) Magic Resist: 30 Movement Speed: 300 Health Regen: 9.5 Health/5 Second (+0.48 per level @18 = 18.14 H/5 sec) Mana Regen: 3 Mana/5 Second (+0.3 per leve @18 = 8.4 M/5 sec)

Basic Look:One who look knowledgeable in architecture. has a mason's apron in the front. A lantern in his left hand, and what looks like a rubber mallet in his right hand. His face could look like a British man in his 30's back in the mid 1800's.

Taunts: "I can tear down any wall you build."

Moving: "Want me to start working?" "This is a great defensive location." "This town is under my protection."

Attacks: "No enemy shall enter Demacia!" "Stand back, things are about to get sticky." "If I build it, they will die!"


Masons' Oath(Innate): Every time Delothor Casts a spell, nearby allies and buildings gain bonus armor and Magic Resistance for 5 sec. 7/9/11 Armor and MR per stack. Stacks 3 times. Upgrades at level 7/14. Doesn't apply on himself.

Tar Toss(Q): Delothor Throws Hot sticky tar in an area. Enemies caught in that area take 80/120/160/200/240(+ 0.2) Magic Damage and has there movement speed reduced by 18/22/26/30/34% for 2.5 sec. Can be ignited by the Explosive Contraption to increase damage over time by 10/15/20/25/30 (+ 0.2) and adds 1.5 seconds to the duration.

18 second Cooldown. 100 mana cost. 450 cast range.

Stone Shell(W):

Hardened Shell(Passive): Upon being hit, Delothor creates a hardened stone shell that grants him 2/3/4/5/6 Armor and MR per charge. Stacks 10 times. lasts 5 seconds.

Shellshock(Active): Delothor breaks his Stone shell with such force that it damages and slows enemies in an area around him. Dealing 10/15/20/25/30(+0.025 AP) magic damage and slowing 1/1.5/2/2.5/3% per charge of Hardened Shell. Passive doesn't work while on cooldown.

75 Mana cost. 15 Second Cooldown. 300 radius(600 area round)

Explosive Contraption(E): Throws an explosive contraption on the targeted area, dealing 80/110/140/170/200 (+ 0.6) magic damage.

10 Second cooldown. 75 mana cost. 500 Cast Range. 250 radius.

Defensive Rally(R): Delothor rallies his teammates by creating a link to all allied champions. All linked allies have 15/20/25% reduced damage. Delothor, in turn, takes 25% of the damage reduced by Defensive Rally as magical damage. After the duration, it applies a shield from damage recieved.

Shield: Gains 25/75/125 for every 100 post-migration damage received. Caps at 300/450/750(+0.2 AP)

5/6/7 second duration. 9 second shield duration. 150/200/250 mana cost. 90/80/70 second cooldown. 550 radius(1100 area round)


Note from Author:

Delothor had 2 other options for his ult. His first was a spell called Pocket tower. It was a channeled spell that lasted for 10 seconds and essentially was a portable tower. In turn, Stone shell was a spell that neglected 6 instances of damage but slowed his MS by 25%. The damage was 40/60/80 magical damage and was increased by AP(Not a good ratio, he is a tank after all), and each hit stacked, but had a 0.8 AS(Attacked 8 times).

His other Ult idea was a Giant wall that would decrease damage done to allies and can be activated again to knock the wall down and deal damage and knockback enemies. Was also made impossible to spin, or dash through. During this idea, stone shell was created. and stuck with that because as... "Balanced(i say this loosely)" as Stone shells original idea was, it just didn't fit. This idea was scrapped as well due to its situational usefulness. and was then changed to what is now the current idea for ult.

Also. Explosive contraption and tar toss idea is the same from Chipper in HoN. I know some of you will ask. The idea was created before he was released.
