New Champion Idea - Serene the Deadly Attraction
CHAMPION DESCRIPTION - Serene is a Melee Assassin with very high burst potential. Serene is loosely modeled after Sirens in Greek mythology. Siren, in Greek mythology, a creature half bird and half woman who lured sailors to destruction by the sweetness of her song. Serene wold look like a beautiful woman with large wings that resemble a dove's. Serene relies heavily on her ability to land her Luring Gaze and/or Angelic Melody, because she is a melee champion. Any feedback or suggestions are appreciated.
Starting Stats - HP: 440. HP regen: 6. Mana: 230. Mana regen: 7. Range: 125 (Melee). AD: 50. AS: .63. Armor: 16. Magic Resist: 30. Movement Speed: 345.
Passive - Femme Fatal: Serene's basic attacks deal 5% of targets hp as magic damage while affected by Luring Gaze or Angelic Melody.
Analysis: As a Siren, Serene is looking to pounce on her target after they fall to her Gaze or Song, this passive allows players to be greatly rewarded for landing Serene's skill shots.
Q - Savage Bite: Serene bites her target dealing 20/45/90/180/250 (+.3 AP) as magic damage.
Cast range - Self. Mana Cost - 70. Cooldown - 14/13/12/10/9.
Analysis: This is a short range nuke that gives Serene her burst potential this coupled with Venomous Strike can be used to deliver high amounts of damage quickly.
W - Venomous Strike: This spell casts twice. First activation; Serene flies forward and strikes her target twice, dealing 35/55/85/105/125 (+.5 AP)(+.5 AD) as magic damage with each strike. This attack poisons Serene's target dealing 20% of the total damage dealt over 4 seconds. Serene then has 3 seconds to fly back from her target.
Cast Range - 500. Mana Cost - 50/55/60/65/70. Cooldown - 10
Analysis: This is Serene's main source of damage, and what gives her that assassin feel and potential. Sirens were creatures that lured sailors into a trap and then devoured them. This ability embodies that intent; it allows Serene to jump in land the Venomous Strike and Savage Bite and escape. The first activation is a point and click attack similar to Quinn's vault or Fiora's dash, while the escape, or second activation is a dash similar to Lucian or Shen.
E - Luring Gaze: Serene's gaze fires a skill shot that marks a target for 3 seconds slowing them by (10/15/20/25/30% which decays over time).
Cast Range - 975. Mana Cost - 50/65/80/95/110. Cooldown 12
Analysis: This is Serene's make or break ability. It is a straight line skill shot that marks the target for 5 seconds and slows them for 3 seconds. In mythology sirens lured in sailors with their looks and song; this ability aims to do exactly that. This ability is core to her combo landing this sets up her ultimate and her 2 damage spells Savage bite and Venomous Strike.
R- Angelic Melody: Serene projects a beautiful song that reduces her targets Armor and Magic Resist by 15/30/50% for 5 seconds. If the target is marked with Luring Gaze when hit by Angelic Melody they are charmed towards Serene for 1/1.5/2 seconds.
Cast Range - 700. Mana Cost - 100. Cooldown - 80/70/60.
Analysis: This ability is ok on its own, but coupled with Luring Gaze this ult makes Serene a force to be reckoned with. It is a point and click ability that has 2 mechanics built in. First it causes her target to drop their guard instantly lowering their armor and magic resistances. The second part of the is a charm if Serene can Ult on a champion marked by Luring Gaze.
(Venomous Strike being that example here) but other wise very good concept.
