Zyphon, the Deadly Duplicate

Zyphon is a ranged AP mage/support with the unique ability to alter his abilities based on his opponent's. An escaped Zaunite experiment in fleshcrafting, he studies his foe with each victory and eventually, learns to become them.

Lore:

“Is this all you could find, you worthless wretch?!” Professor Damplight exclaimed. He had expected at least two dozen specimens for his research, and his assistant had only brought five.

Noroc looked down as he offered his excuse. “I-I'm s-sorry, Master... The Demacian soldiers were... I w-will try again--"

“No you won't, fool! By now those meddling morons will have redoubled their security. What you have brought will have to suffice. Now, bring my tools as I examine our stock.”

The misshapen assistant bowed his head and did as the Professor instructed. The scientist removed a ragged sheet from the cage and found five figures bound and gagged inside. A human male of Demacian descent. A female of Ionia. A yordle. A minotaur youth. Most strange was the last, a monstrous thing with some humanoid traits, but with crablike claws and only one large eye that dominated its face. Most likely, it was a failed experiment by one of his competitors. Amateurs, he thought with a sneer.

Damplight heard his assistant return. “Bring me the sedative and open this cage. We have so much work to do.”

After handing the Professor a syringe filled with green liquid, Noroc unlocked the prison and stepped inside. “Which one do you require first, Master?”

“You,” replied Damplight, injecting Noroc with the syringe. “At last, you will be of use.”

The work was, as he had predicted, long and tedious. He transgrafted muscle, liquified bone and destabilized flesh. Like a mechanic tinkering through the night Damplight manipulated endlessly, until each piece was in place. He decided it was time for a test.

He grabbed a scalpel and aimed for the quivering mass of re-purposed life. He threw the blade, and as he did, he could see his creation react. It raised a wall of skin and bone, forming a hand which caught the blade by its handle.

“Good, good! Now, you just need a name. What shall we call you?”

Suddenly, the pile twitched and shook, forming into a vaguely human shape. It stood. It attempted to speak. “Zach... Yiling... Pilibur...”

“Incredible!” Damplight exclaimed. “The abomination thinks itself a man. It speaks as if it remembers who it used to be!”

“Hakad... One-Five-Nine... Noroc...” It ran towards Damplight, scalpel in hand, as it screamed its true name. “ZYPHON!”

Abilities:

Passive: Beg, Borrow, Kill

Each time Zyphon gets a kill or assist on an enemy champion, he gains a stack of Study: [Slain Champion's Name]. (Maximum 5 stacks) His autoattacks deal bonus magic damage to champions based on the number of stacks acquired for that champion. Additionally, his abilities gain effects based on the number of Study stacks acquired for his targets.

Q: Burrowing Tendrils

Zyphon throws out his tendrils in a linear skillshot which disrupts his enemy's flesh and deals magic damage to the first enemy it hits. If he can maintain the tether for 2 seconds, the target will suffer additional magic damage over time. If Zyphon has 1 stack of Study against the target, the champion will also be rooted in place.

W: Reflective Barrier

Zyphon places a shield around targeted allied champion. It absorbs the next targeted or skillshot projectile ability that hits that champion. With at least 1 stack of **Study ** against the attacking champion, the projectile is reflected backwards (at the same angle it hit) and will affect Zyphon's foes.

E: Tendril Cluster

Zyphon leaves a twitching cluster of tendrils in a moderate-sized circular location (think Morgana's tormented soil), which becomes invisible after 2 seconds. When an enemy champion enters the area, the tendrils activate and slow all enemies inside, dealing magic damage instantly. If Zyphon has at least 1 stack of Study against an affected champion, it will take bonus damage from all champions for a few seconds.

R: Doppleganger

Zyphon becomes a duplicate of target enemy champion. He loses his abilities and gains his targets' for 2/3/4 (+1 for each stack of Study on the target) seconds. His base statistics become his targets'. He retains all of his items and buffs. Requires Zyphon to have at least 1 stack of Study for the champion he wishes to duplicate.

Notes: I'm not sure about numbers for his... anything, really. I just really like the idea for this champ. Please leave your feedback, and thanks for reading!
