Riot Says They Won't Sell League Of Legends' Victorious Character Skins

and here comes my thought, why not grant the players who achieved gold or higher a token which can be traded for a skin :D so for example: this years victorious skin would be a champ you neither play nor like, let's say victorious you joined LoL too late and didn't get a chance to earn the victorious skin (like myself D:) but would really like to have it so you could use the Token and trade FOR

you still had to achieve every year GOLD or higher but you could select older skins and the purpose of showing of "experienced players" or rewarding players for achieving gold would stay the same :D

The whole point of the victorious skins is to recognize your achievements for a particular year. If I see a Victorious Janna, I know that this player was ranked Gold or higher at the end of season 2. It is unfair to the players that earned it if Riot starts giving it to others who did not earn the reward in season 2. These skins have significance and some people take alot of pride in owning less common skins. Additionally, there are skins that we can never get now and I personally believe that riot should make a few more like that.

I kinda like that idea, it doesn't cheapen the fact that you were still require to achieve gold in each season to collect them all, but at the same time, provides unfortunate people like myself the ability to grab up Victorious Elise, since I started playing in early season 4, so long as we still achieve gold ranking. It gives us a little choice in our Victorious Rewards, rather than something random.

I wouldn't be opposed to a Victorious Viktor though. Hint, hint Riot.

Hex then by that logic they shouldnt release championship skins. while i understand its meaning its also makes it so as time goes on these types of skin become useless when updates and the likes happen because only a select few people have them!
