'Try Out Champions?'

Hello Fellow Summoners,

Could it be a good idea to maybe add a 'Try Out' button on a champ, Then you have that champion for atleast 1 Game. But if you have tryed out that Champion, you have a cooldown for that champion(Maybe 1 Weeks?), But while the CD is going you can still buy the champ. Once you have tried the Champion and the cooldown is over you can NOT try out a champ for 2 Week (Atleast)

You can always put your thought in the comments down bellow Much Love!

The Free Rotation system is far superior in my opinion.

(In addition to the current rotation system) I think they could give 1 token a month which unlocks a champion for a week, and you can save up to 4. The champion of course would be unavailable in ranked play, the same as the Free Champion Rotation. I don't think there should be a cooldown between you using them, and you can unlock multiple at the same time if you saved the coins.

I mean, why should there be many restrictions to it? The most comparable game to LoL is Dota 2, and you own every champion/hero from the start, and you aren't pressured/required to spend the same currency on gameplay improving Runes either. The whole IP system is garbage.

If they disbanded "Free rotation" in lieu of this, maybe. But one thing that would cause is newer players "renting" one champion and then joining games with "I only have X champion so I need X lane", which could lead to negative interaction.

If they institute this to coincide with free weeks, then you have two mechanics to balance, more check sums for champion lists for users to maintain, more code to be written.

I'd say no. It's part of the game to find out which champion suits you without being able to select all champions. And we got the champion rotation allready.

no, free rotation offers enough already, even tho it's only 10 champions, it's still beter than what you advise, as it'll only make the choice for new champions harder for beginning champions, like, they see all those champions, try them all out, and dont know wich one to save up for, even tho i'm gold 5 ( not very high, but just a bit above the average player) and even i still have about 40 champs to go, what i mean by this is : if you want them all etc, but can just pick them every week because of this, you'll never save up for the champions you'll really want, as you can choose them anyway

Hmm maybe not for level 30 summoners. But for like below level 15 or so you should get to Try-Out one champion not on the free rotation once a week for only 1 game. That way new players, who have already tried all the champs available to them, get to try out higher cost champs and get a feel for what they are good at.

This would be great as there are champions that rarely gets featured on Free Rotation.

For example both LeBlanc and Evelynn were free for only one week in the whole of 2014.

If you missed that week you would have to wait a year to get a chance to play them again.

While this would be great for players, it isn't good for Riot's business model.

And that's pretty much the end of it.
