Lore of Legends: Stories Born of Greatness

Hello, summoners (do we still call ourselves that?), author of the popular fan fiction Spellthief here with a new series of short stories that will ultimately grow into a large history of the current Valoran, without the Institute of War we have become so accustomed to. The chapters will be released weakly on Fridays, each told from the perspective of a different champion (if you are familiar with A Song of Ice and Fire, you might recognize the format). Some storylines may intersect, some seemingly separate, but ultimately they are working towards building a part of a bigger, better Valoran. The champions we love have always been presented to us as individuals bent on a single motivation, something that brought them to the League, but these characters are much more complex and exciting than that, and you will see that for yourself. So I hope you enjoy the story as it grows. I am excited to see where it takes me, and I hope you'll come along!

The search for lore continues this week with the deceptively serene life inside the walls of Demacia, through the eyes of Garen, The Might of Demacia.

Previous Chapters:

Cassiopeia

Ezreal

Ryze

Leona

I came upon this project of yours last night; I only read Cassiopeia's chapter, but it was great, and I do plan to read the rest of them! Glad to see a fellow writer who's excited by the possibilities of the new lore. I've thought for a long time that League deserved a better narrative structure, and the changes they're making will hopefully achieve just that. Keep writing, friend. =]
