I frist entered the Summoner’s Rift at the age of 13. As a summoner it became my responsibility to command champions into the battle of Noxus and Demacia. After seeing the sides, I choose to ally with the Demacians. I was assigned to the champion Garen, the Might of Demacia. Throughout Valoran, the resolve of Demacia’s military is alternately celebrated or despised, but always respected. The Demacian troops are similar to the Spartans; they do not make excuses, flee, or surrender under any circumstances. Thousands of great heroes have risen and fallen on the bloody battlefields between Demacia and its preeminent rival, Noxus. Commanding the champion once more, I rode him to glory to fight another summoner commanding Urgot, the Headsman’s Pride. We met up in our lanes on the fields of justice; we stared each other down knowing that only one of us would come out alive. I heaved my dense two-handed sword onto my shoulder began to march down the lane with the minions. The minions soon started to fight one another and the battle begun. Urgot hand the upper hand and tossed his Noxian Corrosive Acid onto the ground where it exploded onto my gauntlets. I quickly retaliated with a decisive strike. I bursted with great speed, breaking free of the acid and struck Urgot across the face. Urgot screamed in agony from the pain of the sharp blade. Immediately he used his hyper-kinetic position reverser and vanished behind me. He shot a zaun-touched bolt into my back breaking through chunks of my armor. Out of pure rage and filled with adrenaline, I used all my might and struck the final blow, my blade slid through him like a hot knife through butter. His minions retreated after seeing their champion slain in action. After healing my wound and repairing my damaged equipment I set for home. I felt rushed and took a shortcut through the unknown jungle. Hearing whispers throughout the jungle I quickened my pace to a sprint. Being halted by a broken branch, I reached for my sword to clear the pathway. After swinging, an immense roar came from the surrounding trees. An evil tree spirit named Maokai emerged from the shadows. Without hesitation he smashed his mighty fists into my breastplate crushing my lungs. Stumbling backwards trying to recover my breath, I ducked dodging his vengeful maelstrom of blade edged leaves. I quickly picked up my sword, but was immediately pinned by Maokai’s twisted limbs. Feeling my strength weaken and my heart slowing I accepted my defeat. I prayed to Demacia asking the Gods for a second chance. Instantly a solar flare vaporized Maokai from the summoners rift, I was then greeted by the hand of Leona, the Radiant Dawn. I managed to get back to the Demacia headquarters with the help of Leona. I returned as a hero, and other summoners cheered congratulating my victory against Urgot. What we didn’t know is that Urgot was evacuated, and was under immense medical care. I learned afterwards to always finish what you started.
