Sup guys thought I'd try the community beta for this, just wanted to share a champion concept I made because I'm trying to get better at game design and I'm currently without a computer which can handle making them so I thought I'd design a champion instead.

So Thundaron is a lightning god with a heavy CC based kit designed to lock down entire teams while also dealing respectable damage (Not near the tier of a mage like Brand or Fizz, more akin to Lissandra)

His intended role is to be an immobile lockdown mage although he lacks in damage and scaling. If you've seen Lei Shen the Thunder King from World of Warcraft you can probably see where I'm going with this. Anyway, continuing on...

His gameplay revolves around locking down teams like I said, with a gameplay mechanic called Totems, These totems conduct and enhance Thundaron's abilities giving them special effects or more power.

Thundaron uses Mana

Basic attack range - 475

I chose this attack range because the rest of his abilities especially Chain Lightning can reach ridiculous ranges

Kit

Passive - Windfury - Thundaron's next ability strikes again but at 50% effectiveness. Overload and Lightning Construct are not affected by this passive. Cooldown 18/16/14 seconds (Cooldown is lowered at levels 11 and 16)

Q - Chain Lightning - COOLDOWN - 12/11/10/9/8 RANGE - 750 Mana Cost -45/50/55/60/65
TARGETED ABILITY

Description - Thundaron releases a burst of lightning dealing 80/110/140/170/200**(0.5 AP)** damage to the target. If a Lightning Construct is within 400 units, the chain lightning will bounce to it making the Lightning Construct release a lightning explosion dealing 40/60/80/100/120**(0.3 AP)** damage in a 300 unit radius to all enemy units and monsters and slows them by 20%. Enemies hit by multiple lightning explosions take 50% less damage from each additional explosion. In addition, they are slowed by 40% instead of 20%.

W - Lightning Construct - COOLDOWN - 10/9/8/7/6 per Construct RANGE - 1000 units Mana Cost - 0 Description - Thundaron places down a Construct that lasts 15/20/25/30/35 seconds, these totems conduct his abilities and grant them additional effects or power. These totems stack up to 2 times and Thundaron can have up to 4 totems out at once. Lightning Constructs must be hit by basic attacks 2/2/3/3/4 times to break or once by a turret.

E - Lightning Pulse - COOLDOWN - 15/14/13/12/11 RANGE - 800 MANA COST - 70

TARGETED ABILITY

Description - Thundaron fires a lightning bolt through the ground in a straight line, if it hits a champion along the way or reaches the intended target it explodes stunning targets in a 200 area of effect radius for 1 second. Deals 60/90/120/150/180**(0.6AP)** to enemy champions hit. This ability can target a Lightning Construct, if unobstructed by another champion, when the Lightning Pulse hits a Lightning Construct it explodes in a cone radius stunning targets in the cone and dealing damage.

R -Overload - COOLDOWN - 120/110/100 RANGE - Must be within 1500 range of Lightning Contructs involved MANA COST - 100

Description - All Lightning Constructs bounce conduct electricity between them for 3 seconds forming walls. Enemies who touch the electricity walls are stunned for 1/1.25/1.5 second and take 100/150/200**(0.6 AP)** damage. After the duration of the electricity walls, all enemies within the walls are stunned again for 1.5 seconds and take another 150/200/250**(0.7 AP)** damage.

Clarification - For example if I have 4 totems out in a box pattern, they would all link together in a box, enemies who touch the walls of the box are stunned and take damage, the walls cannot stun the same target more than once. After the duration of the walls, all enemies inside the box are stunned again and take more damage. I chose this because it brings an entirely new mechanic to the game along with his Lightning Constructs

Alright so I think I covered the kit, I might update again, i'll see what you guys think and decide if it's worth continuing (Art is kind of out of the window on this computer, neither do I have my tablet, an update is likely to consist of retuning and base stats)

Very interesting and cool concept. It reminds me of the the earth spirit from Dota 2 mixed with the shaman from Hearthstone lol. I really hope riot considers something like this. One thing though about the ults name overload. Ryze's q is named overload. While the name does fit your ult, id consider a different name for the sake of uniqueness. What about Lightning Barrier? Since it creates these walls between each of the totems
