The Most Random Champion? (Concept Champion)

So I greatly enjoy uncertainty. The more random something is, the fun it gets. After discussing with a few other of my League friends, we realized a champion relying with all of his abilities have something random. The basic ones we thought of were:

  • A passie that decreases the chances of being screwed (in so many words) by RNG. Like using a slightly weighted coin

  • A life steal ability. You'd drain health from your target and heal. However it also has a chance to heal your target with your own health, though the amount isn't as large as a self heal. With the passive, you have a lower chance of the reverse heal.

  • An Ability that takes every champion's gold on the map (both ally and enemy), gathers it up, then disperses the gold to every champion again randomly. With the passive, you have a higher chance of more gold for you and your team EDIT: I've now realized this is a bad idea. Like REALLY bad idea. I have another idea where the Random Champ throws a random thing with varying damage and cooldown (High Damage = High Cooldown, Low Damage = Low Cooldown)

  • It's Ultimate would take one random champion's from the entire map and copy their ultimate until it's used. While it might seem over powered, imagine using this champion and getting Shyvana's ultimate without the dragon benefit.

I should probably say at this point that I've only been playing for a little over a month, so I don't know if it would be overpowered. I also imagined that do to the sheer...randomness of the champion, he wouldn't get used on a competitive scene much meaning it would probably just be for fun. What do you guys thinks? Would you use a champion who would be totally random?

I think this could be fleshed out a bit more, but I see your approach.

So I assume this champion's passive is supposed to synergize with the rest of his kit? Although the champion is supposed to be just "random" as you say, a limit that increases the chances for things to happen in his favor sounds like a good idea for what you want. Mainly, what are some things about the passive? Does it scale up with level? Say +3% chance per level for things to always go in your favor, capping at 54% at level 18. Or do you want some other constraint for the passive?

The first ability actually sounds kinda funny. Sounds like it could either be a Vladimir Q or an enemy-targetted Soraka heal, and you have to have the courage and the ability to determine whether or not you should use it. I do have a concern about it though. Say, for example, I have barely any health and the enemy is near death. I use my ability and I get dealt a bad hand, and I lose all of my health and die, while healing them. Would that be possible? Could it just function like abilities with health costs, never actually killing you? Or could there be even more hilarity, saying that you killed yourself, and you get both a kill and a death? (Would be pretty funny to see, but not funny to experience, /me thinks)

No. Let me stop you right there. Your ideas, although very unconventional, have been good up to this point. There have been champions capable of manipulating a lot of things in the past, but gold should not be one of those things. I know you've only been playing for like a month, but let me paint a scenario. Let's say your bottom lane is losing absolutely hardcore. In 5 minutes, they've already fed 20 kills (high exaggerating) and the enemy team's bot lane has a huge gold and level advantage over their opponents. So, in response, you use your character's E (I'm calling it his E, just cuz) and suddenly, it's no longer a problem. If you're lucky, your bot lane now suddenly has an equal or even greater amount of gold than the enemy roflstomping them seconds ago. Now they only need to go back, buy some items, and suddenly they're potentially on par with the enemy laner. It's too much like a get out of jail free card for an ability. You can feed to absolute hell, but as long as you press that button, you have a chance to suddenly make all those kills seem rather moot. The only way I could see this working is if it were an ultimate, it had a long cooldown and/or high cost, and there was a relatively high chance of screwing up. But, honestly, I'd rather him have an ability I actually feel like I could use, rather than just suddenly imposing communism for about half a second as everyone's gold is redistributed.

The ultimate may be hard to implement, due to having to come up with animations for every single champion' ultimate, or coming up with some uniform animation that doesn't look completely out of place. It may also not work well with some ultimates. What about Gnar's ult? Would it use the mega awesome stun, or the shitty speed boost in mini form?

Overall, I think this ideas could be polished to something really cool, but you have to watch out. We don't want another Bard
