Assassin ADC (concept)

I think and assassin adc would be awesome, there are not very many ranged assassins and none of them are adc's ranged attack could be throwing dagger, q could be some sort of skillshot, w could be an AOE circle that has some range on it shooting stuff outward, e could be a move kind of like fizzes e, ult could be a teleport to every champ in the area kind of like a fiora ult but not untargetable and doesnt hit the same target more than once, just like after the ult it increases his/her damage for an amount of time. or something idk just an idea

You mean thematically? Because Vayne and Quinn are both assasins as well as adc's. I think Vayne's theme even fits an assassin style look and kit.

I agree, Quinn and Vayne are listed as Assassins and are generally played as such in game. Quinn's burst damage through her aa->q->valor proc->e->valor proc-> is pretty high, especially once you get BT and LW. Then being able to go into melee form and have an aoe execute is basically the best thematic design you're going to get on an adc IMO.

I think your idea is more like an ad version of kennen in his current state. A shuriken-based harasser with ad scaling, but that would be too similar of kits or too little variation. Talon is basically the closest you're going to get on your idea.

So, the issue with an adc who is truly an assassin (someone who has the ability to get in, instagib a squishy, and get out safely) is that they'd be hella OP. The defining feature of adcs is their great dps - you can't have an adc without dps, or it won't be an adc - and I just mentioned the defining characteristic of an assassin. If you give a champ both of those, either you have to nerf them so neither their burst nor their dps feels good, or they're going to be unhealthily OP.
