A summoner ID Card: A suggestion for Riot, a sub-product of LoL.

After the end of season 4, all player get frame and summoner icon according to their achieved rank in the season. As a marketing student, I was thinking would this possible to visualize the idea in the real world. As I am a member of some kind of special interested group, I have a membership card published every year just for the sake to recognize you are a member, which is without any other uses(maybe to show off or to show their loyalty towards the game they loved so much). Although it is so useless, it show your status, people are willing to pay for that card and put it in their wallet.

Therefore, my idea is to create a summoner ID card based on the rank you have achieved last season. And it is better to limit the sale period to 1 to 2 months after the end of the season.

The quality of the card: is better to make it look nice and durable. (like a bank card)

Design: The frame can be according to the rank you achieved, as well as the icon on left (as shown in the attached file) It can include your summoner name and a icon of your ranked most played champ (the data can be achieved from the database of server) which can show every card is tailor made with heart.

Recommended selling price: 7-10 USD/ 5-7 GBP/ 50-70 RMB

Method of Delivery: by local mail service.

Future development: "Maybe" in the future, the card can embed a electronic chip which is connected with your lol account, and used in the real world. Like those game card you used in arcade, you can connect you card with some arcade game machine to play and save the data in your card and synchronise to your lol account. :D

They didn't even give Bronze people trims around their icon this year. If they do sell the cards, I doubt they'd make one for the majority of the playerbase (aka Bronze and Silver). So, no thanks.

I guess the reason of ordering the card would be have achieved gold or higher haha~~

how about make them payable on an individual basis. you don't need to mass produce these, but is would be cool!

I think the card should be available to all ranks; I like the idea of having an NFC chip in the card to carry over your item sets to your friends house as well as other settings. For those who don't want to pay the money for the card, have a free app for your NFC enabled iPhone or Android. While they are at it, I'd love for them to implement two-factor authentication.
