What's the deal with getting penalized when my a computer crashes or internet disconnects

My computer runs fine most of the time and I have no problems, don't get me wrong, I think it's fair when people get penalized for leaving, for example, I have to be somewhere important so I sometimes have to leave games and get leaver buster which is fine, I get it, it's fair and I shouldn't have played a game knowing there's limited time. However, I think it becomes a problem when for example my computer crashes or internet disconnects and then I get leaver buster, I manage to connect back into my games within 5-8 minutes but when the game ends I get a leaver buster. Which sucks because the disconnecting was something completely out of my control and besides I still manage to connect and pick up from where I started and somehow I still get a leaver buster how the hell is that fair? Isn't there a way for you guys at riot to do check if the disconnect was from the player or something other than the player? I don't know if other people have this problem but this has happened to me multiple times now and it's really become a nuisance because I'm pretty sure my computer crashing and my shit internet isn't my fault.
