When someone contacted player support about their punishment with seemingly innocent logs, the support responded "it is not okay to tell people to go suck dick". I assume this has to do with respecting the fact that people are gay. But the post https://imgur.com/rxBqs0k by chicken wrap views gay people negatively when it says that General Discussion sucks dick. Is it okay refer to gay people in a negative manner on the boards by saying General discussion sucks dick?

"Suck a dick" is pretty much universally used as a general insult, it's not targeted at one specific group and I definitely wouldn't go so far as to say ChickenWrap is homophobic. That's just not true.

General Discussion has a "looser enforcement of the rules" (to quote Mods in the past) so comments like these, especially when they aren't directed at anyone, have historically been allowed.

edit: And to clarify, I am personally not a huge fan of the... let's say "culture" of General Discussion but it's not exactly hurting anyone.

Those are two different things. It doesn't have anything to do with gay people either way. Having a few of the same words doesn't make those two different things the same thing.

It can not be viewed as homophobic in any way bacause they didn't indicate in any way if the person sucking the dick in question considers themselves a man or a woman.

Let me inform you OP, many women do indeed suck dick, some of them occasionally and some of them almost on a daily basis.

Nothing wrong with that.

Then again, even if the person sucking the dick was indeed a man, it is perfectly possible for the recieving side of the dick sucking to be a woman - let me remind you, we do not tolerate transphoby on boards, so please do not assume that a men sucking a dick is gay, because it is not the way the world works.

While I don't want to make assumptions or speak for anyone else but myself, I think that if I were gay I would probably find such a post to be offensive.
